This year the classes we are in together are history, math, and biology. Three classes! She is taking all honors classes, so I'm glad I decided to spruce up my grades and join them too. I am almost fluent in English, though I still have a slight accent. It's as if she gets more beautiful by the year. Maybe soon I'll finally ask her to be my girlfriend, as we've been getting closer during projects together.

New year, new hope. January brings a sense of security, like I can finally ask for her number. I think I'll do it casually, like ask if I can contact her for help on the work. Then, maybe we can go to the next step.

We've been sitting together at lunch to work on a project. Usually we sit with our separate friends, but not recently. She is so smart and creative, and I love seeing these new sides of her. Our texts have been interesting as well. Maybe our paths aren't as different as I thought.

I did it. On the American holiday of Valentine's Day, I asked her to be my girlfriend. I told her that over the past year or so I've liked her and that I wanted to really get to know her better. She blushed, beautifully of course, and said yes. WHOOOOOOO!

We've been dating for two months, two wonderful, delightful, head-over-heals months. I sit with her and her friends at lunch sometimes, and sometimes she'll visit me. This love we have is amazing. I never knew it could be like this. After admiring her for two years, now I can hold her, touch her, talk to her. I feel so alive when she's near. It's something hard to describe. Our conversations never get boring or awkward anymore. We tell stories of the past and hopes for the future. All I know about my future is that I want her there.
