Dinner was anything but comfortable. They were dining at Savannah's favorite restaurant. It was a 5 star restaurant named "Luz Del Sol" , which simply translated "Sunlight." They had been served their appetizers, and still no questions, but Lily could see the questions in their eyes along with disapproval. She knew it wouldn't be long before.. "So, Lily.. you looked pretty interested in Blake" Autumn said while playing with her appetizer. Lily just looked at her as if she was confused. "What she means is you were drooling over him" Savannah said with obvious accusation and disappointment in her voice. "I wasn't drooling Star, I was simply admiring, don't worry I have no intention of talking to your boyfriend ever again" Lily said obviously hurt. "Ohh, come on now Lily Flower, you know we just want whats best for you, don't be so upset over it" Autumn said and then looked at Savannah signaling for her to agree. "Oh yea, he's not my boyfriend" Savannah stated flatly. Savannah could come off pretty strong most of the time, but no one knew why as well as Lily. She knew her Star wouldn't hurt her unless it was for her own good. "You guys, it's not that serious he was just nice-looking, that's all" Lily said defending herself. "You say that Lily, but you had that look in your eyes." Lily knew exactly what look Savannah was referring to. There was complete silence.
The waiter finally returned with the main course. Thank God, neither of them could stay upset after a good meal, Autumn silently thought to herself. She was always the nurturing one, always taking care of others and asking nothing in return. She had been there for Lily their entire life and, she'd do anything in the world for Savannah. She just wanted everyone to smile. They ate in a comfortable silence for all of five minutes, and the questions began. "So, Lily can you see yourself with a man like Blake?" Autumn asked. "What do you mean a man like Blake, he's a great guy?" Savannah said impulsively. Then it hit Lily and Autumn at once, Star referred to Blake as her hero. It was him; No wonder she was so defensive. They both attempted to apologize at once. Savannah gently smiled and said.."it's okay guys, I'm not upset.. I actually like the idea of Blade." Savannah said smiling impishly. "You mean Blake" Autumn said in a vindicating tone. Savannah couldn't help but chuckle as she looked at Lily, trying to ignore the conversation. "No Panda, I meant Blade, as in Blake and Jade" Lily almost choked on her shrimp. Her face was as red as the lobster on Autumn's plate. Star and Panda couldn't help but laugh at the shocked, panicked, expression on Lily's face. "Wha...at? The..ere..is .. No Bl..ade!" "Yet" Autumn smiled and said matter-of-factedly.
Before dinner was over Lily had successfully knocked over her glass of water and called the waiter Blake twice. Why couldn't she stop thinking about him? The thought aggravated her, because she realized she was doing it again. She had been asked a million and seven questions, all of which Blake was the topic. She grew tired of the nervousness she felt every time they said his name. She had some questions of her own. "I wouldn't be laughing if I were you Autumn." "Me? I don't have a crush on Star's best friend you do." Panda said still holding back a laugh. "No, you don't, but no one said anything about you and Roscoe" In an instant Autumn's face turned strawberry red. "I have no interest in Roscoe or any other man" she replied shyly. "Awh, Lily looked what you did, this isn't about Panda. this is about you Liliana Jade Easton oops I meant Black." Savannah said as she watched Lily's face redden even more. Lily wanted so much to reply, but the thought of sharing Blake's last name captivated and confused her. With any other man she would be appalled, but she couldn't deny the gentle feeling she felt when star called her an Easton. The name fit all too well. She was definitely staying away from William Blake Easton, but first she had to figure out why he was here. "Why is he in town anyway" she asked with obvious contempt in her voice. Star smiled, she was enjoying this a little too much. "He's here working on a song for Beyonce' and Jay-Z.. don't worry he's not going anywhere Lily" Savannah said in a teasing tone. Lily couldn't deny what she felt, was she blushing? AGAIN? How, why does her affect her so? why?
