Chapter 23

I was now 4 months pregnant with baby Conor. My bump was now very visible and the baby was constantly moving. We had decided to move out of the country as our new home. Jack was over 1 now. He was growing to be such a beautiful baby! I loved being a mom with Erica! Erica and I were now engaged. We planned on moving somewhere near Brighton and had our list of house down to a couple.
I walked into the doctors office and and waited to be called back. When they finally called me back, I stood and walked back. Today I was just getting blood and an amnio for genetic testing. I did it with Jack and I was doing it worth Conor.  It didn't take long to get the blood, I was laying on a lab table. Waiting for the numbing to take effect and them come in to take a sample do my amniotic fluid.
I waited outside the doctor's office. They wouldn't let me drive home.....Erica pulled up with Jack in the back seat. I climbed in and leaned over to kiss Erica. "Ugh. I had such a long day."
"Really?" She asked and raised an eyebrow
"No. I just feel like a whale." I laughed
"Well your my sexy whale."

We drive home through London traffic for about 20 minutes until we finally got home. I picked Jack out to his car seat and carried him in the house. We had opted for a smaller house. We wanted to cut down on expenses. We only owned this 1 house. We owned 2 cars and lived in a 4 bedroom house. I carried Jack to his bed room and sat him in the floor. I sat down next to him and rolled on my side. We played until Jack got tired of  playing and I got him to go to sleep. I walked into the bedroom with Erica lay. She was passed out, surrounded by papers. I smiled and moved all the papers to her desk. I got in bed and later next to her.
I got up and grabbed Jack. I put him in the car seat and drove to the grocery store. Erica was still asleep in the bed. I picked up snacks, food for dinner and some other stuff.
