Your eyes adjusted extremely slowly to the dark charade of blurriness intruding your vision. As they adjusted, red-splotches bloomed into the picture. You blinked a few times hazily until the scene was sharp and high in definition. You were inside the elevator again, the lights were dim, extracting a bit of an eerie feeling from the tight space. It was still trashed and tilted from the events of the last time you'd been inside the mechanical form of transportation among floors, but you didn't quite mind, the only thing that did was remind you that everything had been real, either that, or you still hadn't awoken from this horrific nightmare. You began to question your mental state at this moment.
As you began to take in more of your surroundings, and your senses started to really kick in, you realized you weren't really laid on the floor, but something other. You shifted slightly, which caused a stinging pain practically all over. You winced slightly before taking in exactly where you'd been located. Your eyes widened slightly before you looked up almost immediately. All to your surprise, you had been curled up in the Doctor's lap. He seemed to be asleep, so now you were just stuck here, awkwardly. You looked around, Josie was sitting up by the door of the elevator, peering out. She turned her head to the side and looked over at you. She mewed once before looking back out. You pulled yourself carefully from the other SCP and crawled over to 529. The pain returned. You looked down, pulling your shirt up to see blood stained bandages wrapped around your torso, deep scars gaping from the edges. You blushed. You must have been hurt, and the doctor had to of put them on you.
You looked out for the cat. SCP-939 was down below the wrecked elevator. Thank goodness that it hadn't landed quite correctly. The beast of many voices snapped his snout just feet from the entrance of the elevator. He stared up at you with nonexistent eyes.
"Who's there?" he called with another snap. It sniffed around for a moment before placing his claw on the side of the elevator and pulled his torso up. Both you and the half cat flinched backward as millions of needle-like teeth clashed into through the doorway and snapped down on the floor. Its sharp teeth pierced through holes that had already been made, showing that this had happened before. The predatory creature ripped his fangs from the elevator and nudged the elevator with its head, causing the place to tremble. It sent you backward against the wall, right next to 049. Josie only slid a few inches, she must have adapted to the movement. 'How long have I been out?' you began to wonder, curiosity burning within you. You held your breath slightly, hoping the doctor wouldn't wake up. Josie looked at him, then back at you. She tilted her head slightly with another following meow. She began to make her way over to him.
You shook your head. "No no no Josie, no, don't wake him up!" you whisper-yelled. She crawled up onto his lap ad stared at you.
"Don't. You. Dare." you whispered. She looked back at him and mewed before rubbing her head against his chest in an attempt to wake him. He shifted slightly, and panic ran over you.
"Josie, be a dear and give me about ten more minutes of rest." he inquired. 529 sighed and hopped off of him. Did this happen daily? Just how many days had you been unconscious? As much as you wanted to ask these questions, you didn't want to wake up 049. Plus, he said he wanted more sleep, even though you were almost positive he didn't need sleep, for your sake and his, it was best he kept resting. You really didn't feel like dealing with more SCPs anyways. 'I'll wake him up in ten minutes.' You thought with a chuckle.
You put your hand out, Josie came over and allowed you to pet her as she purred and rubbed the half of a body she had against you whilst purring. You stopped a moment and looked at the void hiding what could have possibly been organs. You put your hand over to the never-ending seeping hole of darkness, it caused the feline to jump and hiss at you. You raised your hands.
