You turned a corner nervously, stopping to glance around. I guess it was noticeable because another scientist stopped to ask what you were looking for. "Umm, I'm looking for SCP-049's containment area," you said, almost embarrassed. They told you where to head and you were on your way. You were so hyped to see the doctor, and you missed him to an endless extent. You'd known him for a while, and only recently had he said he loved you, but it was like his words were cursed, because after that everything went downhill.
Once you arrived you walked up and tapped on the glass parting the scientists walking space and the doctor's little area. No one was really around so you looked inside through the glass, tapping as you did. Eventually, he came around the corner, scalpel in hand, blood stained his gloves. He must have been working. But as soon as he realized it was you he dropped the blade and ran to the glass window. He pressed his hands against the glass, smudging blood on it , but hell, you didn't care. You were just so happy to see him again. You started laughing and crying. You just laughed while tears ran down your face and he pulled his mask off to reveal teary eyes alongside you. "I can't believe you're alive, you're.....you're okay," he mumbled and gave you this reassuring smile. "Y-yeah!" you were out of words it was all you could say. That's when Doctor Dillamond walked in "uh...Catherine!" he mumbled before stopping short when he saw you. You turned to look at him wide eyed. "Should....I....report this?" he asked, confused, almost fearful. "N-no! Please don't. I'll explain." you muttered out of panic. 049 just stared at the other scientist. He slowly walked over and looked at the caged SCP. "Help me get him out, please," you begged. "Oh....my gosh! It wasn't a mask? Wait, what did you say?" he jerked his head to look at you in confusion. "We can't free it! It'll kill us all! It'll kill you!" he exclaimed. "It? No, no. See this is why I hate you people! You don't care about the things you contain, they have emotions too ya know?" you argued. "So? They are deadly!" he replied. "Not all of them..." you gave him the death glare. "Good doctor, if you could, allow...Catherine inside, I would gladly prove to you that I don't mean any harm." 049 said, his words a soothing lullaby. "Um, no! You expect me to believe you?" the other argued. "Please? If I die I deserve it." you jumped into the conversation. Then doctor Dillamond just kind of looked between the two of you in hesitation. "Fine, but if something goes wrong I'll get you killed you ignorant SCP." he concluded, getting up and swiping his security clearance across the door key. The door shifted open and before you knew what happened, you were in the SCPs arms. "I missed you so much," you muttered. "So did I." he chimed. "W-what?" doctor Dillamond was astounded, watching us as we turned to face him. "Yeah....I was a Class D on a mission for escape, and 049 wanted out too, so we teamed up and kind of....well....you get the point," you explained but the other scientist just looked horrified. I glanced at the doctor, and he glanced back. He just sort of rubbed his thumb against my cheek. I gave him a bleak smile. "You look magnificent in a lab coat, by the way." he cooed. "Aww, thanks! It's much more comfortable than those scratchy Class D clothes," you concluded. 049 reached out for doctor Dillamond, and he didn't flinch, I don't guess he was worried anymore considering you weren't dead. But both you and your doctor knew that he wasn't going to make it out here anyways. Before he could touch him you both mumbled a simple 'sorry' before he dropped dead to the floor. "Okay, the guards will be on us within moments, We need to find 079." the doctor said. "Who's that?" you said as he took your hand and rushed you off. "A computer." you could hear the smile in his voice. He stopped and looked at the scientists. "We'll have to make a run for it,"he mumbled. "No, we should just get you a lab coat, no one will be able to tell!" You chimed. "They haven't seen your face, correct?" I questioned him. "No, dear, they haven't." he replied, "Where am I supposed to get a lab coat though?" he asked with a smirk. "I don't know! You know where everything is better than I do, you tell me!" you replied. He sighed, "Okay, just....wait here, I'll be back."he said before rushing off before you had the chance to stop him. He slipped around guards and scientists somehow without being noticed, and you just watched nervously.
About fifteen minutes later he returned in with black pants a light blue top and a white labcoat on to top it off. "You look good in white." You smiled. "Oh, silence." he laughed. "Aaanndd..." he exagerated his words to pull a security card from his pocket. It was a level five. "Oh my gosh how did you get that?!" you exclaimed. "I have my ways." he whispered. "Did you kill someone?" you asked with a smirk. "No, but if they find a scientist that they happen to think is me because they are dressed like me passed out in their office, it wasn't me." he joked, "Now we're going to act this out, alright, I'm your guide, just follow like you have a job," he said. You pulled you're clipboard up and held it under your arm. "Yes sir!" you giggled.
