Lucinda P.O.V

I sat and stared at my phone. Did I really just say I loved him? I don't know if I'm actually ready to confess my love. Even though I've probably done it before, know that I'm looking at this text over and over. It doesn't seem right.
"Lucy?" Laurance approached me and blushed a light pink with his cute smile.
"Yeah?" I looked up from my phone and smiled.
"You look nice today." He smirked and blushed a deeper pink.
"Uh...Thanks? I don't know how skinny jeans and a t-shirt are flattering."
He laughed, "Can you meet me after school today at the fountain behind the school?"
"Um...sure." The bell rang and I waved goodbye heading to first period.
*Time Skip Till after school
I knew Travis had swim practice so after I saw Laurance I was going to wait for him.
I walked up to the fountain and sat at the edge, "Hey..." Laurance was already there fiddling with the lily pads in the water.
"Oh. Hey!" He quickly stood up and smiled.
"So...You wanted to talk?"
"U-Uhh...Yeah." He looked deeply into my bright orange eyes.
"Laurance?" I moved my head back making him break eye contact with me.
"I-Is it true your dating Travis?" He looked the other way.
"Yes...Why?"
He quickly turned and kissed me passionately keeping me from breaking away. In the corner of my eye...I see Travis. Tears forming in his eyes..and he ran away.
I punched Laurance in the the stomach, HARD. He let go of me, holding his stomach, "LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, NEVER TALK TO ME AGAIN! OR ELSE..." I pushed him hard into the fountain drenching him in water and ran after Travis.
Travis P.O.V
I left swim practice and I saw Lucinda and Laurance...kissing. How? Just how could she do this to me? She knows what I've been going through. How many people has she told already?
I felt tears forming in my eyes and I ran. Back to my old house..That I shared with my parents. I sat in the backyard and cried. Lucinda tried calling me multiple times but I declined them all. I finally decided to text her.
