Lucinda P.O.V
We Got Back home and we continued to argue. I didn't understand what her problem was."You know what, mom? This is giving me a headache. I'm going to lie down." I walked into my room and rested in my bed.
I soon heard a knock on the front door, and I heard Travis's Voice. I was already half asleep, so I didn't want to exactly get up.
"Is Lucy Here?" His voice cracked like he needed me for something important.
"Why Do You Ask..?" My moms voice was stern and steady.
"I, uh, have to ask her something." His voice was still cracking at some points.
"What are you asking..?" My mom wasn't letting him inside. She kept asking him what he wanted with me.
"It's, Something personal." His voice stopped cracking and he was quiet,
"Well, She's busy. Better leave." Her voice raged fury, and you could hear the door close.
But then it reopened, "I need her now. Please." His voice was soft but demanding.
"Sorry." She remained cautious of him.
"I really need her. Right Now. I'm Sorry But-"
"You aren't going near my daughter." Her voice cut him off, "I know who you are. And I'm Not Letting you near my daughter."
"W-What?"
"See? Your eyes are purple now. Stay AWAY From My Daughter."
"I'm Sorry. I can't control it, okay? I really need to speak to Lucy-"
"You are not, nor never going to talk to Lucy. I don't want her harmed."
"I won't harm her! I love her too much to ever hurt her!" His voice pleaded, but It wasn't enough for my mother.
I slowly got up and peeked out of my door to watch what was going on, and my mom pulled out her staff.
"W-What Are You Doing?!" His hand started to turn black as it rushed up his body.
"I'll show you to stay away from my daughter." She waved her staff and fire erupted around it, and when she launched it toward him, darkness surrounded him, keeping the fire away from him.
He slowly made his way to the front door. And when he did, he opened it and sprinted out, to who knows where.
"MOM!" I ran downstairs as fast as possible, "HOW COULD YOU?! YOU TRIED TO KILL HIM!"
"Sorry Sweetie, But-"
"NO! NO BUTS!! YOU PUSHED THIS TOO FAR!" I sprinted out if the door, following the trail of black dust.
I followed it, until it ended at an abandoned farm house. I walked around, looking for him.
"Travis..?" My voice cracked as I looked behind a crate.
"I can't stay here, Lucy." His voice sounded scared and worried.
"Travis, You Can. It's Fine. I will convince my mom to keep it a secret."
"No. Lucy, She obviously doesn't like me."
"Travis..." I looked behind a hay bale and saw him holding his knees, his eyes purple, and his skin dark black.
"I-I'm Sorry Lucy. I just can't stay." His voice was shaking and his eyes were puffy.
"No, Travis, It's Fine. I promise you." I stroked my hand through his hair softly.
"You can't promise me something like that." He made eye contact with me, and at that moment, his eyes turned green again, and his skin went back to normal as well.
"See..? You're Fine. Remember, I'm here for you."
I sat down next to him, and he hugged me tightly, shedding a tear or two. I slowly kept stroking my hand through his hair, comforting him the best I could.
"Lucy." He looked up at me and smiled slightly, "I'm so glad that you're mine."
"And I'm So Glad You're Mine."
