*The Next Day

I threw on some skinny jeans and a sweat shirt, and strapped on some high tops. I sprayed cologne on myself and combed my white crystal hair to its normal look. I grabbed a Tiger Lily that I kept in my room, and walked downstairs.

"Good Morning!" Dante walked up to me and put his arm around my shoulder.

"Hey! Why are you so happy this morning?" I laughed and punched him in the arm making him take his arm from around me.

"Oh, just got a girl!" He winked at me then walked back into the kitchen.

"Are you sure you weren't dreaming?" I laughed again and followed Dante into the kitchen.

"I'm positive this time!" He laughed and his face turned pink as he picked up his phone of the counter.

"Eh, who's texting you, is it her?" I tried grabbing his phone from his hands but he pulled it away before I could grab it.

"Y-Yes, it was..."

"Dante, don't be scared in front of me." I smiled trying to make him tell me.

"Fine. Nicole. There."

"Ooooooh! Nicole!" I taunted him and laughed.

"S-Stop it!" His face turned red as he yelled at me.

"Fine then." I grabbed some cereal and sat down starting to eat it.

"I'm going to head to school, see ya there!" Dante walked outside and left.

I finished eating and walked out of the door, walking to school. I trotted to my locker, and saw and angry Katelyn being held back by Jeffory and Lucinda. Who was she after?

I walked up to them to see Dante slowly walking away, starting to run, "What's going on?"

"DANTE YOURE DEAD!!!" After a few seconds, Katelyn got out of Lucy and Jeffory's grip and sprinted after Dante.

"Katelyn!" Jeffory called after her, but it was no use.

"Well..." Lucy started explaining, "Dante "cheated?" on Nicole with Kawaii~Chan, but he wasn't dating Kawaii~Chan. He was just hanging out with her, maybe flirting, and before he left Kawaii~Chan kissed him on the cheek, and Nicole saw, and ran away crying. Now Katelyn is REALLY angry at Dante...and well...yeah."

"WHAT?!" My eyes widened and I started to get a bulging headache.

"Travis, calm down, please." Lucy kissed me on the cheek and smiles at me.

"Do you know Katelyn's relationship with Nicole? They are BEST BEST friends. They have known each other since they were 3. And I have known Dante for a while too, he is MY best friend. Lucy, you don't get this."

I sprinted after Katelyn, dropping the lily, who was chasing Dante back to the house. When I got close enough to Katelyn, I grabbed her wrist making her stop, and giving Dante more time.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" She moved around trying to make me let go of her. But I didn't.

"Katelyn, Nicole might be your best friend, but Dante is mine. And if you hurt him, I won't be your friend anymore, okay? I understand you have known Nicole for a long time, and I can't blame you for being protective. But Dante had been there for me at the worst times in my life, and that's probably the same with you and Nicole. So we can both keep our best friends and we still be friends, DO NOT chase after Dante...okay?"

"B-But, B-But-"

"Katelyn, it's okay, let them work this out themselves."

She fell to the ground, and I picked her up and carried her back to her house where she condo rest for the day. Hopefully, this would work out with Dante and Nicole.
