*Third Person*

Abigail pushed a strand of hair behind her ear as she worked feverishly on her new peice of art. Her pencil scratched against the paper, but the noise was drowned out by the usual bustle of the cafe. She was drawing the raindrops rolling down the cafe window, and as she was adding depth into her raindrop, she felt eyes boring into the back of her neck. She turned to see the offender, but all she saw was a head swivel to face the opposite direction. The clock on the cafe wall caught her eye, it read 13:22. She had been there for 4 hours! She gathered up her sketches and stuffed them in her back pack. Abby was used to the London weather, but neglected the fact that she needed a coat. With one last glance at the man who had stared at her. Abby pushed the door and left into the pouring rain.

"ARRGH!!" Abby slipped in her non-grip shoes, but a pair of strong arms caught her. Her backpack slipped off her back and burst open into a muddy pudde. She stood and watched all of her work reduce to mush.

"Shit." She turned around to thank the man who had caught her. A tall, slim man with stormy eyes and messy hair was smiling apoligetically back at her. He was handsome, he ran his fingers through his damp hair nevoursly. "Thanks for catching me." He laughed and said,

"You're welcome. Sorry about your work. They were very good!" He stared at the mush of paper.

"Thanks, but not really. I'd better be off." Abby smiled and turned on her heel, her heart fluttering in her chest.

"Wait! Wait!" The man jogged up to her. "Please, let me give you a lift, my car is over there." He pointed behind them.

"I couldn't. Besides, I only live 20 minuts up the road. I'll be fine, thanks." She carried on walking, but the man caught her arm.

"I insist. You'll get ill in this weather! I'm Dan, by the way. You are...?"

"Abby." She let Dan pull her to his car and watched as he cranked up the heating. His car smelled wonderful, like him.

*10 minutes into the car journey*

"Wow!! That's so cool! What's your band called?"

"Bastille. I'm lead vocalists."

"I've heard them play on the radio!!" Abby smiled at Dan who turned and smilde back.

"I'm surprised the band has got this far, but I love it. Just everything about being in a band is fab, you know? Hey I have an idea! Come to my place, we're having a band rehearsal later and you can meet all the guys. Meanwhile you and me could have a coffee?" He looked at me hopefully. Well, it was only 1:30pm, Abby thought, and how could you say no to those eyes?

"Oh, alright then, Mr. Bastille Lead Singer Man. To your place it is!"

*Dan's Apartment*

As Dan fumbled around his pockets for his key, Abby looked around. It was a grey an gloomy day, and even the bright flowers that were hung up didn't brighten the place up.

"Aha! Got it! I apologise in advance for the mess, me and the guys were hanging out last night, and Kyle knows how to have fun!" He turned away and opened the door. There were beer bottles everywhere, clothes strewn across the floor and multiple CDs dotted around the room. Dan smiled apoligetically, kicking piles of clothes under the sofa and behind doors. A sofa suddenly appeared as he shifted a pile of empty Dorito bags.

"Make yourself at home. Do you want coffee, tea, lemonade, coke... we're out of beer though." he said looking sheepishly at beer bottles across the room.

"A coke would be great thanks." Abby sat down on the sofa and picked up a magazine from underneath her feet. On the cover was Dan with 3 other guys. She heard clunking in the kitchen. "Hey Dan, it's you!" Dan came through from the kitchen with 2 cans of coke.

"It is indeed. The one and only!" Hey struck a pose and set down the coke. "There you go. Kyle, Woody and Will will be here in a couple hours, so shall I show you the music room?"

"Sure! Lets go!" Abby smiled and jumped up.

*Music Room*

"Wow." That was all that Abby could actually get out of her mouth. She walked straight over to the keyboard at the left of the room and put her hand over the keys. She played a couple of chords, and smiled. Dan walked over to Abby and her heart rate increased as he leant over her shoulder and played a couple more. His breath was warm against her neck and their hands moved in sync to create a sweet melody. Dan laughed and pulled away.

"I didn't know you played! Do you do anything else musical, Abby? Do you sing?" He grabbed the microphone off the stand, flicked it on, and the multiple speakers from around the room spluttered into life. "Go on! I bet you sing." Dan threw the microphone at Abby who ran to catch it.

"I'm not that good, but if you insist....

You shoot me down, but I won't fall

I am titanium

You shoot me down, but I won't fall

I am titanuim"

Dan stared at her. A beautiful brunette girl with gorgeous grey green eyes was singing in his music room, and she could sing. She was amazing, angelic even. He burst into applause.

"Oh my god, Abby! You are just.... wow." Dan smiled gently and Abby blushed a deep pink.

"Not really. I just..." Abby was interuppted by Dan's doorbell. Dan lead her through the hall and to the door. Abby slipped into the kitchen as Dan opened the door and 3 guys bounced in.

"DAAANNNNNNN!!" A guy with a fab moustache yelled and jumped into Dan's arms. Abby couldn't help but burst into laughter. Dan watched has her waist length brown curls shook.

"Is there someone else here?" said a guy with long gingery brown hair.

"Yep. Kyle, Woody and Will, this is Abby." Abby stepped out of the kitchen and smiled. Three guys gawked back. Abby's smile wobbled awkwardly.

"Guys, come on, don't be rude. Kyle, say hello." Dan shoved Kyle towards Abby, who promptly smothered her in a bear hug.

"OMG HEYYY!!! Dan has been looking for a girlfriend for so long and aren't you just the cutest hunny pie I ever saw?" Abby looked alarmed from behind Kyle's shoulder.

"Ok, um Kyle? Too much. Let her go! And Abby isn't my girlfriend." Dan cut in.

"Yet." Woody sniggered.

"Come on guys, lets go." Will made a beeline for the music room.
