(A/N: over a hundred reads... wow!!! Thanks guys, it means a lot. I will try to make this better and update more frequently, but cannot promise anything, with school and stuff... Just a filler chapter here because it is late and I can't sleep so this will probably be shit, so sorry. Also will be very short!! ∆)
Dans POV
I felt my heart try to break my ribs as I kissed Abby. I closed my eyes and deepened the kiss. I heard the waitress come with our drinks but I ignored her. I carried on kissing Abby. She ran her fingers through my hair again, and the waitress chuckled, but I was too busy pulling Abby further up my lap to notice. I pulled away, and Abby's gorgeous eyes stared back at me.
"Wow. You know, I was sat her when I first sensed you staring at me. That was just over 24 hours ago!" Abby snuggles into the crook of my neck, kissing it and sending shivers down my spine. I nestled my head into the side of hers, my tongue tracing gently down the side of her ear, and as I got to the bottom of her ear I whispered,
"That's because you are beautiful, and I am so glad I noticed you." Abby smiled and hugged me tight. I picked up a mug of warm coffee and handed it to her. I picked up my own and took sip. I set my mug down carefully and bit my lip.
*about an hour later in Abby's POV*
I giggled as Dan led me by the hand out of the café. He chuckled back softly. This boy was melting my insides. Suddenly, out of nowhere the feeling came back. I felt light headed and dizzy, and the whole world was wobbling before me. I stumbled, trying to regain my balance, and the last thing I saw before blacking out was Dan's face displaying the look of worry, panic and terror.
Dan's POV
Abby's face lost its bright smile and her eyes glazes over. I held tight on her hand as she began to stumble and trip. I caught her as she fainted, cold out in my arms.
Abby's POV
I woke up to see the bottom of a chin above my head. I began to move, and the chin turned into Dan's face.
"Welcome back to the land of the living! Are you ok?" Dan asked with concern. I nodded and yawned. I checked the time. It was 8pm. I'd been out for just under an hour.
"Dan, could you drive me back home? I need to go to bed. I'm tired," Abby rubbed her eyes and stifled a yawn. Dan shook his head.
"I'm afraid not, you are staying here. If you faint and hurt yourself, whose going to look after you?" Dan reasoned with me. I shrugged.
"Well, I guess I'm staying here then. Can I borrow a tee to sleep in?" Dan nodded. I got up and headed towards the bedroom. I picked out Dan's 'To Kill a King' tee and removed my dress. The top went just to my mid-thigh. I crawled into Dan's bed. I felt Dan get in next to me, wrapping his protective arms around me, nuzzling my neck and wrapping his legs around mine. I snuggled backwards into his chest, his musky scent filling my nose, his warm breathe relaxing me. He hummed a familiar tune so softly I could barely hear it, but before I had time to recognise it, I fell asleep in Dan's arms for the second time.
