"What a lunatic," I mumble under my breath as I try to undo the binds he's put me in. I scream profanities as my frustration level rises. I look up when I hear the rustling of dead leaves trying to locate where the sound came from. My surroundings are like nothing I've seen before.

The tallest tree is only twice the height of me with vibrant purple leaves and crimson red trunk. At the base of the tree there is a pile of charcoal leaves that seem to be moving. Out of the leaves waddles a tiny creature standing only about one foot tall. His big black eyes pop out of the sides of his head and are the size and shape of eggs. His scaly turquoise skin stretches over his round pot belly and short stubby legs that, other than the size, quite resembles that of an elephants. The creature holds out his hand signalling he does not want to hurt me. It is than I notice that he only has four stubby fingers on each hand.

"What are you?" I hesitantly ask the creature before me.

"I is Caro. I is knowing you." His voice is high and raspy.

"What do you mean? How do you know me?"

"You is the prophesied with suns and moon in your lookers."

"Do you mean my eyes?" I ask, totally and completely confused.

"Ya, your lookers." Caro replies. "Prophesied said girl dat see both suns and moon bees the one to save the Fantacy from the bad who be created the dark."

"Ok, um, but right now I need help getting back home" I reply not knowing how else to respond. I had absolutely no idea what this ugly little creature was talking about.

"Where do you be living?" Caro asks.

"I don't know" I reply. "I was dragged here through a door."

Caro smiles so widely I can see all three of his teeth. "I is knowing where dat is." He waddles away rather quickly. It appears he is searching for something, but I don't what it is.

"Where are you going?" I shout.

The creature quickly returns with a stump in his arms. He climbs on top of the stump and breaks the rope that binds me to the chair, barely breaking a sweat. I am impressed with his strength.

When my arms are free I look to see how much time is left on the cursed countdown. The numbers are stuck at only 37 seconds. In an attempt to restart the countdown I slap my arm. When nothing happens Caro says, "Not be worrying, time is to be working diff – er – ently in the Fantacy."

"Wait, so are you saying you can see these numbers?" I ask.

"Zeros, three, seven. Caro sees all!" replied Caro.

"Do you know what they mean?" I ask him.

"They are to be meaning of a big changing."

"What kind of change?" I inquire.

"It is to be diff – er – ently for the big ones. Like you be big. "

"What do you mean, like I am big?" I question the tiny monster in front of me.

"Maybe dat is why Prince Gunnar come back to the Fantacy," Caro wondered out loud. He rapidly claps his hands together in excitement.

"Is that who brought me here?"

"Ya, no one else is knowing of the passage way for the realms."

By this point I am thoroughly confused. "What do you mean by realms?" I ask.

"Realms, they be the places different than the Fantacy. Like that other one where you were at, Disfantia. And more realms too. Arlik be another one, and Midlegm."

"How many realms are there?" I ask, still unsure of what he is talking about.

"There be too many for Caro to count, but there be twelve that Caro be using mostly."

"How do you get to the other realms?" I question.

"Caro be not needing doors like Prince Gunnar do. Caro can just be teleporting."

"Can you help me get back to my realm, or whatever it's called?"

"Dis be your realm."

"What do mean this is my realm? You just told me I came from Disfantia or whatever."

"You just arriving from Disfantia, but that is not being your home. You is being born in the Fantacy realm."

I mentally shake off what he just said because he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. "I'm from Earth, or Disfantia, or whatever you call it. That is my home. I was born there and that's where I grew up. Can you help me get back?"

"I is to be helping you only this once time. Next time you is to be visiting Caro you is to being using the gate."

"Sounds like a plan, Stan." I say sarcastically.

Caro looks around, obviously confused. "Who be Stan? Caro be Caro, Caro not Stan."

"It's just a phrase, don't worry about it. Come on Caro."

"Sounding likes plans Stan," Caro says smiling with his toothy grin, obviously proud of himself.

Caro sits in my lap and mumbles words I don't understand, and his whisper is so quiet I can almost not hear him. My toes start to go numb and when I look down my feet are gone. Then my legs start to disappear. Caro's body is disappearing at the same speed as mine and when the only my head is left, I take a deep breath unsure of what to expect.
