The Kygan was a massive ship. A large merchant vessel, the Kygan spanned over 200 meters. Originally a trade ship, during the dawn of the 39th Century the Kygan saw the use of illegal arms dealers and black market merchants seeking a mobile haven to trade wares and classified equipment.
Throughout the years, the Kygan had undergone massive reconstruction programs, with the addition of more facilities such as a mobile hotel suite, casinos and more, transforming the vessel into a recreational ship as well.
Eva: Beth, have you heard about the story of the Two Princes?
Elizabeth: "Nope."
Eva: Well this is a story I pulled off the zone-net in Bretona. There was a kingdom in a land far, far away. This kingdom was situated on a beautiful countryside, and had stretches of trees and mountains all over. The kingdom even overlooked a serene ocean.
E: "Sounds like the perfect place."
Eva: Except it isn't. Within the kingdom, there was a king. The king was on his dying bed, on the verge of passing on due to his illness. Countless priests and sorcerers have tried to rid him of this illness, but the king could never be saved.
E: "So the two princes ended up in a fight for the throne?"
Eva: Not exactly. The younger prince had ambitions. He wanted to venture out into the far mountains, a place on the other end of the map.
E: "The map? Couldn't he just call it an island?"
Eva: Back then the people could only explore out where their legs or horses allowed them. The map was essentially the furthest they could explore and mark. The younger prince sought a particular place, a location known as Tarsikatan, a supposed legendary city where prosperity and technological advance was moving at an unprecedented rate. The younger prince sought this place, even though he only heard whispers of this mythical place.
E: "Sounds right, damn well he would."
Eva: Well, not the older prince. The older prince thought that the kingdom was in a very good spot already, and why bother searching for a myth when you have a beautiful castle before your eyes? The two princes argued for months, even debating the plausibility of such a place. Nothing could change the young prince's mind.
E: "Adventure? Ambition? We won't understand."
Eva: The young prince bid his brother goodbye, before setting off on his own with a rucksack and a sword.
E: "He should have brought a plasma rifle."
Eva: And so he should have. Months after he set off, scouts from a passing city reported finding a dead man similar to the young prince. The elder prince was devastated, but he was the only one overlooking the kingdom, and if he were to venture out to find his brother, his kingdom would be vulnerable without a capable leader.
