A young boy wearing only a cloth as his undergarments ran out into the fields.
Boy: "Ki ni si gar!" (Let's go already!)
A girl, who was slightly older than him and clad in similar fashion, was walking behind. She was lugging a huge sack made of Splintium, a leather-like material found on the planet. The sack was thick and filled with stuff.
Girl: "Wuzi! Tu-" (Wait! You-)
The boy ran further into the fields. He stretched his arms out wide, feeling the tall yellow plants around him. The sun was shining bright. The skies above boasted two planets in view.
Boy: "Tu sini! Haha!" (You're slow!)
The girl rolled her eyes.
Girl: "Ini uzi un tu si kipipi CharChar." (Keep that up and you'll be eaten by a CharChar)
Boy: "CharChar nos jokida das!" (CharChars don't hunt during the day)
The girl stopped dead in her tracks. She immediately dropped her sack, and rushed to the boy. She covered his mouth with her hands, and dragged the both of them into a bush, crouched.
Girl: "Inaz! Shh" (Quiet)
A mechanical roaring sound was heard in the sky. A massive entity appeared in the skies, with blue fire trailing behind. The strange machine hovered over the plains, covering the plain field in shadows. There were lights coming out of the huge entity.
The girl slowly lifted her hand off the boy's mouth as the entity passed.
Boy: "Woooooa, hu kini anatae?" (How can it fly without wings?)
Girl: "Iz ku duni..." (I don't know...)
The boy started running towards the entity's direction. The girl picked up a spear and rushed after him, yelling at him to stop chasing it. The kids were warned not to venture past the plains. The villagers had told them that beyond the plains lied the end of the world, guarded by monsters and evil beings.
The boy did not stop. He ran into the thick of the forest, while the girl hastily chased him. While the boy was running through the forest, he was jumping and happily singing. This was the first time he saw a Enkinipa, a special type of animal that lives in the forests. It was colourful, with multiple shades on its body. The Enkinipa howled, before resting back on its branch.
Guided by the sounds of the entity, the pair made their way far past what they were told not to. It was a long way from the village, and several nuks(hour) had passed. Their family would get worried and send hunting parties to find them.
After what seemed like forever, the boy finally made it out of the woods into a clearing, with the girl panting behind him.
The clearing revealed the massive entity in close-up. Sitting on the clearing, the entity was white in colour, and there were many parts which had light shining out of it.
The girl primed her spear.
Girl: "Pokini yu!" (Stay away!)
The boy looked on in fascination. He had never seen one so close up before. The villagers often talked about these things, and they call them the sky creatures. Creatures which could walk in the air without legs.
The boy felt a hard knock on his head. He yelled, then turned around to see a person wearing weird clothes. The person was holding a large stick. The stick clicked.
"HANDS UP. Sir, I've got two natives."
The girl hissed at the stranger, and pointed her spear at him.
"Put that thing away, or somebody will get hurt."
"Roger that, bring them in."
The girl yelled, before lunging at the man. The man pointed the end of the stick at the girl. A loud sound was heard, and blood came out of the girl's head.
The boy stood, watching in horror. The same thing that the village hunters had caused on the prey Yukkis that they hunt is now happening to his sister.
Similar sounds could be heard in the distance towards the direction of the village.
The boy's arms were forcefully held back, and the strange man had did something to make him unable to move.
Tenerys: "Sia, ju ki anatae." (Sister, fly with the god)
Tears rolled down Tenerys's cheek while he was dragged away, looking at his dead sister's corpse.
