Eva: Beth, we have a problem.

Elizabeth: "I thought we had a problem already, and our problem is heading towards docking."

Eva: This one's real.

E: "Tell me about it."

Eva: The ship's subsystems are failing. Too much damage on the core components have been sustained during the chaos.

E: "How long?"

Eva: Fifteen minutes based on my calculations until critical levels cause a reaction. It won't be pretty.

E: "Eva, disconnect from docking. Pick me up when the synth is taken out."

Eva: Be safe.

E: "I'll make it quick."

The Kygan rumbled. The ship's power started to go off throughout the ship, with several areas blacking out in succession. Scores of ships were launched, each carrying survivors of the initial carnage out into space. The massive vessel was going down.

The docking station module was affected by the power surges, which caused its power to constantly switch on and off. The lights flickered, and several electronic systems were overloaded. Sparks were sent flying throughout.

Elizabeth unsheathed a corrosive katana. The blade glowed a radiant viridian green.

Eva: Where did you get that?

Elizabeth: "I got quite the arsenal on the way past armoury. We are taking it down here and now."

The entry door on the other end of the station flew in with a loud thump. The synthetic has arrived.

Eva: Five minutes, Beth.

Several ships were on fire, from the consistent gravity switches smashing their hulls into the walls.

Synthetic: You have eluded me human, but now we are back to square one.

Elizabeth: "I am going to square you up."

Synthetic: Humour is not part of my programming.

E: "Shame. This could have been more entertaining."

S: There is no way you could win this. Your chances are close to zero.

E: "A point one percent is a chance still."

S: Have it your way. Human.

The synthetic's lighting changed from a yellow hue to a bright red glow. The missing arm was replaced by a gun.

The synthetic spooled the gun's rotary chassis, engaging a stream of ballistic rounds at its opponent. The walls and objects in its way were decimated in smoke and lead.

Elizabeth ducked behind a ship for cover. She reached for her belt, dislodging three mechanical spheres. The spheres rolled into the arena, each dispersing a cyan tinted smoke.

Eva: Four minutes.

S: Cryo gas is useless. I can't be frozen like an organic. You will freeze to death.

E: "Nobody said anything about freezing."

Elizabeth pulled a plasma rifle from her back, and fired. A stream of plasmid discharge flew through the room, straight towards the opponent.

The synthetic got caught in the impact of the stream. The stream's extreme heat reacted with the Cryo gas in the area, which caused the synth's metal body to start dissipating into the air.
