Diplomacy was a Shaak that Ash bought Padme for her birthday during the very early years. Ash was sick of hearing "always use diplomacy first" , so she got her a pet Shaak that she named diplomacy. They use her as part of the cavalry, as Padme's personal steed. They also use her as a stormtrooper-crushing instrument. She's quite good when she has a good conductor.
They also use diplomacy as a bomb, by dropping her on an enemy and crushing them.
Ash loves diplomacy, and what was supposed to be a joke present, turned out to be a lifelong pet.
