THE NEW YEAR!
Filming was over. The movie was finished. It was being released in April. The premiere was actually on my birthday (April 19) but I didn't mind, i thought it would be cool to invite Sam and Eliz. By then Eliz would be 8 months pregnant so I hope she decides to come.
NEW YEARS EVE.
I was up next to my baby. Nat. His arms were wrapped around my waist. I felt so safe in his arms. It was my home. I woke him up because it was 11am and we needed to get things ready for the party in the evening. We invited Sam, Eliz, Their parents, their siblings, my family, Nat's family and some very close friends of Nat. This would be the first time I meet Nat's brothe, Alex. From what I heard, they're almost exactly the same.
I started decorating the house and setting up the table. I put some flowers in the middle and the napkins were neatly folded. I started preparing the food and after a while Eliz came to help make the cake that would reveal the genders. We baked a baby pink cake and a sky blue cake. We stacked one on top of the other with some white icing in the middle. We then covered it with white icing so that no one could guess what the colours were on the inside.
Once everyone arrived, we all talked, laughed and had such a great time. We all sat down and ate a well prepared meal (I think..) and it was finally time for desert. First I brought out some ' Vasilopitta' which is a traditional Greek and Cypriot cake that you eat on New Year's Eve. There is a special coin hidden inside the cake and whoever gets the slice with the coin supposedly has good luck for the rest of the year. We didn't cut into it until it was actually New Years. Firstly, we sliced the gender revealing cake. Everyone was so nervous as the suspense built, Sam cut into the two beautiful colours and revealed the gender to everyone's we all congratulated the couple and moved on with the magical night.
The was 1 minute left till the new year. We all started counting down once it got to 10 seconds.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We all hugged each other and cut into the 'Vasilopitta' cake. In the end, the person who got the coin was Nat but he insisted on saying that since we're a couple, we both won.
The night lasted until about 1-2am. Everyone left and Nat and I immediately flopped onto the bed, cuddled and slept. The night went well and everyone seemed to have fun so I hope they really did.
