CELEBRATION.
CHRISTMAS EVE
Anna: NATTTTT?! Could you please bring me my gold necklace?
Nat: Yea sure.
In less than an hour the guests would arrive.
Anna: Come here.
I said playfully with a smile.
I fixed his tie whilst he kissed the top of my head. I looked at him and dragged my hair through his hair. He kissed me and I smiled.
Anna: 2 Months.
I whispered into his ears.
Nat: 2 months what?
Anna: We'll have a family together.
He smiled at me and I blushed. He still made me feel like I was hopelessly crushing on him even thought we're married. Like a princess and her king.
The food was in the oven and Eliz was baking dessert because if I baked it. Well. It would be gone before everyone arrived. I don't know why but all I crave is sugary stuff. Dam. My kids are gonna real hyper huh?!
I was a vegan so, no meat tonight!! I cooked up some vegan 'chicken' and I made some potatoes with gravy. I also prepared some salad with cranberries and some vegan stuffing for the 'chicken'
Although Nat wasn't vegan, I wouldn't let that get in the way of how I felt for him. We did agree that our kids will be vegan so I was happy.
The guests started to arrive and the fun began. Surprisingly, almost everyone came around to touch my tummy. It was a little weird and made me feel uncomfortable but I guess it was okay.
We all sat around the table and started eating. I have to admit, the food was pretty good. We talked and laughed and by the end of the night we all had tons of gifts. Most of the gifts given to Nat and I were for the kids but we didn't mind. We were glad that we wouldn't have to go buy all of the things that they needed.
The night ended but Eliz and Sam stayed behind for a little more so that we could talk. Eliz told me about her new job and how she has so much fun. I offered to babysit be caste Sam needed to catch up on filming and stuff. She mentioned this girl that she met named Madeline and she asked if I wanted to meet her. I said yes and we settled on a date.
The night came to an end and to be honest I was happy because I felt exhausted. I could barely keep my eyes open. They felt heavier and heavier every second. I found myself laying in my bed. Nat probably carried me up. I fell asleep in his arms and felt the world spinning. He was mine. No one could ever change that.
