THE TWINS.
10 DAYS LATER.
Eliz had 13 days until labour. She was a little panicked but I helped her calm down because it's not good for the babies.
She was at my place again because she was helping me with more planning. We were gonna send out the invitation today. It was a beautiful mint coloured invitation with little swirls around the frame and beautiful black, curved handwriting to specify all the details.
It read:
Come Celebrate Anna And Nat's Wedding.
This will take place on Monday, 8th of August 2016 at 4:30pm to 12am.
Please R.S.V.P as soon as possible to let us know if you are coming.
We also put a small checklist on the back. You would tick either the box that said coming, the box that said not coming and if you did tick the coming box, you would have to write if you're bringing a +1 with you.
We neatly put them into beautiful light mint envelopes and took them to the post office to send out. I was so excited. Especially the fact that it was my wedding and my best friend was planning it. We came back and rested for a while. Nat and Sam were filming a colab together which I found amazing because if the two guys are good friends, then Eliz and I will have more time to spend together. They were filming a Q&A together. I wondered if he would tell anyone about our engagement. I mean. His fans knew because the paparazzi took photos of when he proposed to me.
Eliz: I need to go to the bathroom. Brb.
Anna: kk
She was gone was around a minute until I heard her scream.
Anna: ELIZ! ARE YOU OK?
She didn't reply.
I ran upstairs into the bathroom and I found her on the floor with her hands on her belly and water splattered all over the floor.
Anna: Eliz?
Eliz: ANNA! Help! MY WATER BROKE!
Anna: OMG this is happening right now. Oh my god.
I helped her up and walked her to the car. She was taking deep breaths and pushing trying really hard not to scream again. While I was driving her to the hospital, I called Sam to let him know what was happening.
Sam: Hello?
Anna: SAM!! ITS ELIZ! SHES GONE INTO LABOUR! COME TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!
I hang up before he could say anything. I talked to Eliz and comforted her even though I know it didn't work because the pain must've been very bad. Thank god the hospital was only 5 minutes away.
Once we got there, I ran to Eliz's side of the car and lifted her up and took her into the hospital.
Anna: PLEASE HELP! SHES GIVING BIRTH!
Receptionist: Right this way.
She guided us to the nearest room and the doctor immediately came in to start the process.
Almost right after that, Sam and Nat arrived and Sam went into the room. Sadly I wasn't allowed to. Only Sam was. I felt bed. I wish I could do something to help her more.
I waited outside with Nat. I was so stressed out. I needed to see her. To make sure that everything was okay. Nat comforted me and told me that she would be fine. I knew she would but I just hated seeing her in pain.
1 AND A HALF HOURS LATER!
The doctor came out with a smile on his face. We walked up to him and he thankfully told us that everything was great.
Doctor: Eliz gave birth to two healthy twinsz everything is under control and going perfectly.
I was so happy to hear him say that. He moved to the side and let us go in the room.
Anna: Eliz? Are you okay?
I saw her holding the girl and Sam was holding the boy. The boy was sleeping and the girl was staring into the eyes of her mother. You could tell how much of a connection Eliz and her daughter would have. I walked up to her and Eliz started to tear up.
Anna: What's wrong?
Eliz: I just never thought I'd ever be this happy before. I love her. Here hold her.
She handed me the baby and I felt a connection with her too. I've always loved kids ever since I was 6 and my baby cousin was born. I always felt so close to them and I had a way with kids. I don't know why but I always know what cheers then up and they like me.
I held her in my arms and looked her in the eyes as she sucked on her pacifier.
Anna: She looks just like you.
Eliz: I would hope.
I smiled at the little baby and she smiled back. I felt so happy. My best friend was a mother. Eliz is my sister. SHES family to me. These kids are family to me too.
Eliz: In your arms, you are holding, Anna Pottorff.
I was shocked at what she had just told me.
Anna: Are you serious? OMG Eliz! Thank you so much.
I gave her back her daughter so that she could enjoy her for a little longer before the nurses came to take them to the room with all the other babies.
I could tell Eliz would be a great mother. And Sam would be a great father. They would be the perfect family.i love Nat and I hope I get to start a family with him one day. He's the only one I want to have a family with. I love him.
Eliz wasn't able to go home so she stayed at E hospital and Sam stayed with her to keep her company. She would be coming back in a few days.
