First day of college and he was already dreading it . He would most rather sit at home in a corner doing absolutely nothing rather than have his professors order him around to learn this and complete that homework by the next day . He especially hated Mr. Dubey , he found him quite heartless and feeling less .
The only highlight of his entire day was reaching his first class quite late . Yes, he did have to listen to his professor scolding him but it didn't matter as soon as he looked around and found out that the seat next to a decent looking girl was empty . As he made his way to her , neglecting whispers from his friends telling him they saved him a place , he wondered why in the world she was sitting alone , who wouldn't want to sit next to her. He quite confidently approached her , waiting for her to at least look his way . Oh how he wished that .
He sat next to her and wondered if she was deaf , because she hadn't even noticed him at all .
Half the lecture passed and his focus was only on the girl next to him . He made a self note to himself right then,
things to hate about the girl sitting next to you : her nails are yellow painted .... like the color of mango . But I love mango , but I hate yellow .
Her nose is a little too big for her small face ..... its cute but still , it's big .
At that moment , it was all he could come up with , and he decided that his attempt was a legitimate fail.

"Oh , sorry" she said in a quite tone , and flashed him a little smile.
He wondered why she had apologised for brushing her arm against his by mistake , he quite liked the mistake.
" It's perfectly alright " he replied , confidently with a bright smile. His smile faded as the girl looked forward again and concentrated , giving him no importance at all.
He cleared his throat " By the way , hi , I'm Junaid "
She looked back at him and flashed her little smile again .
" Hi Junaid , nice to meet you " she said , taking his forwarded hand in hers and shaking it .
And just like that , the conversation died . She looked forward and he at her , until the lecture ended .

That night he wondered what she was thinking , because all he could think about was her .
