Two weeks had past and Snape was getting better. It was finally the day that he could get up and walk...obviously not by himself, but never the less he was eager to get back on his feet.
"Snape." Her voice was like satin...silk....beauti- Snape finally snapped awake from his strange dream. Eloise had been haunting his dreams...well...she was always in them, and they weren't exactly bad dreams. He didn't admit to anything, but the thought was there, in the back of his mind...or heart. "Today's the day Snape!" Her bright blue eyes filled with happiness, his were just as dark as they'd ever been.
He said a sarcastic "woohoo" and then sat up. Eloise ordered breakfast up by floo, a minute later an elf suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The elf had bright green curious eyes with specks of gold in the centre. She payed down the tray on the bedside table, and bowed to us. "Is there anything else I can get you?" She asked politely, her voice quiet and squeaky. "No, that will be all. Thank you very much."
Snape thought that Eloise had been too nice to the elf. The elf blushed and then with a click of her fingers, she disappeared. Over breakfast they discussed what would be happening that day. "So today we're going to get you out of bed, and if you're up to it, we could go for a little walk outside!" She said excitedly. "By outside..." Severus paused for effect. "...what exactly do you mean?" He asked in constant monotone.
"Well..." She twiddled a strand of her long blonde hair around her long delicate index finger of her right hand. "Either around this room, around the school, or outside. Your choice." She laid their finished breakfast trays down on the table, and moved closer to him. Eloise looked up at Snape expectantly, he quickly snapped out of whatever trance he was in. "I want to go outside, but I'm going to take things slow, and see how far I get by walking around the school."
It was a sensible choice. "Let's get you dressed then." The angel stood up and made her way to his wardrobe, picking out socks, pants, a white shirt, a black jacket, a pair of black trousers, his black robe and black shoes. She then took the pile to the side of the bed and laid it down. "Take the nighty off please." Eloise asked. Snape just wanted to be free, so he did so. "Do you think you can get these on?" She asked holding up a pair of his silk boxers.
"I'll try." He drawled, then snatched the boxers out of her soft hands. She watched him to see how he would approach the task. After a couple of minutes of struggling, Snape let out a big sigh and gave up. "I'll do it then!" Eloise spoke, her voice hinted with humour. He didn't say anything, he just laid there looking up and the ceiling. He felt the silk go around his ankles, up his leg, past his knee and up to the top of his thigh, then it stopped.
"Bum up." She said, just like every other day when she had dressed him. He didn't dare look down, he hoped that she was the only thing 'up right' at this second. He just lifted his middle up about an inch and felt the silk start to move again. Thank goodness that's covered, he thought, trying to keep a straight face and not to blush. The rest of his clothes were fine, apart from the slight twitch he felt when Eloise put the trousers on him.
Finally it was the moment he'd been waiting for. Eloise helped Snape up onto his feet and told him to walk to the other side of the room. He took three steps, wobbled and then walked again. Once he was at the other side of the room, he sat down. "I can't believe how well you've done Snape, you should be running by tomorrow." She placed her hand on his thigh, with an enthusiastic smile. "Let's go outside, get you working on the stairs."
The angel stood up and took Snape's arm. They then walked out of the room, remembering to shut and lock the door behind them. They then walked arm in arm past the Slytherin common room...bad mistake. Two boys in fifth year whistled at Eloise and made some rather inappropriate gestures towards both her and Snape. "Got yourself a girlfriend hook nose? How much you paying for her? I bet you like to Slytherin her." The boys laughed.
