It was midnight and everyone was in bed...all except the golden trio; Ali, Ruben and Toby. The first years were looking for a mystery to solve, but nothing could have prepared them for this. Wandering the castle was the ghost of Bellatrix Lestrange. She was moaning and wailing, her cries echoing throughout the corridor.
The trio hid in a corner, and waited for her to pass. Ali tried to make out what exactly she was saying but all the was was a hissing sound and then more wailing. Ali put a silencing and invisibility spell on all of them and signaled to follow the ghost. They travelled 100 yards and then came to the courtyard, where Bellatrix Lestrange slowly disintegrated into thin air.
After a minute of waiting, Ali lifted the spells, sure that the coast was clear. They slowly made their way back down the corridor. They stopped and turned to check if anyone was following them...and walked straight into none other than Snape. He stood towering over them with a stern look upon his face, and he was just about to open his mouth to say something when footsteps were heard.
Eloise was running through the corridors. She's most likely been flying, Snape thought. By the time she had got to the others, they all wore the same expression on their faces- the famous what the hell expression. ''Sorry..." She rasped as she regained her breath. Nice acting, but I know angels have way more stamina than that, Snape thought to himself, not tricked by Eloise's act.
"I am here to escort these three back to their house." She said to Snape in a manner of authority. But he wasn't having any of it. "I believe that I found them out of bed after hours, and that they need to be punished." Eloise sensed the trio shiver. "They were called to me, for a meeting about their tutoring. My mistake." Eloise stated and walked the trio back to Gryffindor common room.
Toby let out a sigh as he let himself fall into an armchair's comfy embrace. "Thanks ma'am." Ruben said to Eloise, as he flopped on top of Toby. "Please, call me Eloise." She smiled back. "You do realize that we will have to talk about this, ok?" Her smile turned into a firm look. "Of course." Ali replied, and Eloise left.

Eloise decided to relax, and instead of hurrying back to her room, she strolled. She knew that Snape would be waiting for her, probably muttering nonsense under his breath. Eloise's prediction was right, and sure enough, there he was, hunched over with his back pressed up against her chamber door.
"Hey." She yawned. Snape looked up from where he was brooding; brows knitted together. "We need to talk." He said plainly, but Eloise could see the pained look in his eyes. She nodded and followed him to his chambers.
The chambers seemed more cold and dark than usual. Eloise sat down in 'her' chair, inhaling deeply to calm her nerves. "When were you going to tell me?" Snape's voice was low and sounded sad, heartbroken almost.
"I didn't need to, you already knew." Eloise answered, they were obviously talking about her being an Angel. "An Angel though. Do you realize what this means?" He talked breathlessly, fidgeting and constantly on edge.
Eloise rose from her seat and turned to face Snape. "Yes I do, it means a life full of pain and suffering, and for an immortal, that's eternity." A single tear escaped her eye. She didn't even flinch when Snape brushed the tear away, nor did she find comfort in it.
Snape realized that she was talking about people doing experiments on her. That would be terrible. "If that is all, then I shall leave." Her voice was monotonous and didn't hold an inkling of emotion. "No, wait. There's is something else I need to address."
Snape pulled Eloise by the arm, back to the chair. "I want to know what our..." He paused to find the right word. "...relationship is. You are a confusing woman." He said, eyeing her. "And you are a confusing man." She smirked.
If truth be told, Eloise didn't know what to call their relationship. "You see," Snape continued "we do things like the massaging, sleeping together, and things that couples do. You even manage to make me flirt. I need to know where we stand."
"Do you even know what you want us to be?" Eloise asked, placing a hand on top of his. "No." He sighed. "Well, until then, you won't know what we are." She smiled sadly, and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.
Eloise then lent in and gently brushed her soft, plump lips against Snape's cold unmoving ones. Snape's eyelids slowly closed, but she pulled away before he could respond.
When Snape opened his eyes, she was gone. Did they really just kiss?
