Eloise talked herself to sleep that night, but not the calming sort of sleep and beautiful dreams visited her, no. Her mind was filled with a nightmare so terrifying that it would scare Lucifer himself...unless it was him who sent it.
She sat up with a jolt, her body was dripping with sweat and she was shaking. Her eyes glowed electric blue in the darkness. He knows. A voice in her head said, she suddenly stopped shaking when there was a knock at her door. He knows. The voice repeated, any normal person would think it was her conscience, but she knew better. Who else would be knocking at your door at this time of night? The voice was right, he knew, and now he was coming to get her.
She edged herself off of her fourposter bed, and onto her feet. With every step she took, her fear increased. She then had her ear against the door, she could hear him breathing, he had obviously ran. She clasped the handle of the door and slowly opened it to reveal a half naked Snape, looking out of breath, but with a spark in his eyes. He grabbed her by the arm and led her to his private laboratory, and shut the door behind him.
What treacherous things will he do to me? First he'll dissect me and take out my blood and use it for potions. Snape let go of her arm and beckoned her to follow him to a desk with various instruments and tubes were. For someone who doesn't know much about the muggle world, he had science equipment and anything you could need for biology. "I've been up all night trying to find out what this little piece of finger nail comes from."
Eloise had never seen him so excited, he looked like a child on a sugar rush: the total opposite of Snape. "And finally.." He continued, pulling her closer so that she could examine the nail and all the tests he had done. "I have found out what dug it's nails into my back." He looked back at her face, seeing that she was blushing furiously. "You're probably not going to believe me, but." He paused dramatically, adding to the suspense. "I found an angel!"
Eloise let out a huge sigh of relief, even though he knows there's an angel around, he doesn't know that it was her. She thought back to what had happened the day before, once McGonagall had left.
As soon as the door was shut, Snape practically lept onto me. The tension that had been between us snapped like an elastic band that had been stretched too far. I let out a squeal when I felt his lips on my neck. I knew that I had either given him an over dose of the hangover cure, or completely the wrong potion. His teeth started to graze softly on the exposed spot on my neck, but the lightness soon disappeared and he was biting into my neck.
I couldn't suppress the scream of pain and pleasure emitting from my throat. My nails dug into his back and he growled at me, but I continued when he bit harder. And that is when my loudest scream brought him out of his trance as my nail broke, and was stuck in his back. The passion had faded from his eyes, and he didn't remember what had happened. We stood for a few minutes, until his eyes fell onto my neck, it was obvious that there was bruising from his expression.
I ran away screaming. I screamed all into the night and now I am here...
Snape raised an eyebrow questionably. Surely she had not just said that out loud? No, thankfully not. But she did let out a sigh of relief and then zoned out for two minutes. "Sorry about that...it's quite a shock to hear this...amazing discovery." Eloise smiled weakly in Snape's direction. "We are not to tell anyone about this though. I hope you understand the meaning of confidentiality, am I correct?" He regained his usually snarky self in no time.
Eloise was numb. "Yes." Was all she could say. "Well I'm going to the library once I get some sleep. Good night." With that he left her alone in his private lab, where she continued to moan, and hallucinate. Meanwhile, Snape was listening to her from the other side of the door. He decided to let her join him help with his new project, on researching angels in the library. He waited for her to go back to her room and to sleep.
