"Oh my god! Calum are you okay?" Ashton asked worriedly, running up to us.
"Yeah man I'm good, just a few bruises." Calum smiled.
"Hey, Alex!" Ash grinned.
"Hi." I grinned back.
"You two know each other?" Calum asked confused.
"Yeah, long story though." I sighed.
"Now wheres Michael? Do you know Michael?" Calum asked, looking around.
"Who's Michael?"
"I'll take that as a no." Calum laughed.
"I just saw him a few minutes-" Ashton started.
"Hey guys." A red headed boy walked up, eating a slice of pizza.
"Speak of the devil." Calum smirked.
"Good thing you didn't get too fucked up." Michael laughed.
"Alex, this is Michael, Michael this this Alex." Ashton smiled.
"Whats up." I said.
"Hey." He nodded his head, taking another bite of pizza.
"Sorry I wasn't here when you got beat up, I wanted food." Michael chuckled.
"Its all good man, Alex actually saved my ass."
I nodded.
"Girl power." Michael said in a high voice which made us all laugh. "Do you guys want to come over and play video games after school?"
I didn't know if he was including me in this invitation so I stayed quiet.
"Yeah!"
"After football practice, I can have my mom drop me off." Calum said.
"Alex? You want to come? You may not be into what we play though." Michael said.
"Yeah sure! After cheerleading practice. Calum, why don't I just take you to his house since we both end our practices at the same time?" I offered.
"That sounds great! Thanks." He smiled looking over at me.
I stared into his dark brown eyes. They remind me of a fall morning when all you want to do is drink hot chocolate, cuddle up in a warm blanket, and watch reruns of your favorite tv show.
"Uh, Alex?" I got snapped out of my thoughts.
"What? Sorry." I laughed nervously, feeling my cheeks heat up.
"So see you guys later then?" Michael asked, chuckling.
"Yup, definitely." Calum smiled.
-
"Good job today girls. See you tomorrow!" I smiled, ending practice.
Andy wasn't here today, one less thing for me to worry about I guess.
I grabbed my bag off the bench and started walking to the senior parking lot to wait for Calum.
Once I reached my Ford Explorer, I tossed my bags in the back seat and went to sit on the hood of my car.
The boys stared coming out of the team room and down to their vehicles. My eyes started searching for a very tall, black haired boy, but only to see everyone but him.
Where is he?
Did he stand me up or something? Fuck, what am I saying. This isn't a date I'm just giving him a ride to a friends house.
I decided to wait a little bit longer, just in case, and good thing I did. Calum came running out of the team room in a rush.
I smiled once he got closer and hopped off the hood. ;)
"Hey, Alex! I am so sorry! I had to take a quick shower and change, then your dad wanted to talk to me." Calum apologized.
"Its no problem." I laughed, getting in my car.
"Okay great, I wouldn't want to see a pretty girl, like you, angry or upset."
"Nice, Cal." I giggled.
-
After Calum's horrible directions to Michaels house, we pulled up to a drive way.
"I hope this is the right house." I said, getting out if the car.
"Don't worry, I know what my best friends house looks likes." He winked. ( MALUM )
I was about to knock but Calum walked right past me and opened the door.
"Shouldn't you knock?!"
"I never knock, are you kidding?" Calum laughed.
"What if he was having sex or something and you just walk in on it?"
"Well, firstly, he would tell me if he's gonna be getting it on, secondly, its happened before but i just grab food and then wait patiently in the kitchen or outside until they finish."
"Yeah thats not weird at all."
"Calum? Alex? Is that you?" Ashton yelled, running up the stairs from the basement.
"Hey Ash!" I smiled.
"Come on down." Ashton said, then disappearing back down the stairs.
We walked down and saw a big flat screen, a couch with a wooden coffee table in front of it, plastered with pizza boxes, chips, and drinks.
"Help yourself to whatever you want." Michael told us slowly, concentrating on a shooting game.
I walk over and see theres a pepperoni pizza and a meat-lovers pizza. I decided on the meat lovers and sat next to Ashton.
This seems like its going to be interesting.

I was with Andy at her house for the day because we were both out of energy, plus I'm scared of everything thats going around at school.
Im currently in the bathroom when I got a call from Joey.
"Hey man, whats up?" I asked answering the call.
"Some weird shit happened today." Joey trailed off.
"Like what?" I asked getting suddenly interested.
"Well today at lunch, Alex stopped some guys on the team from beating up that guy Calum."
"Why would I want to know that?"
"I wasn't finished." Joey whined. "Then today after practice, her and Calum drove off in her car together.."
"Joey, they are probably just friends."
"But they've never hung out before."
"Shes probably just trying to get over me."
"I don't know dude, somethings going on."
"Just let her do what she wants to do." I sighed.
"Okay, why weren't you here today though?"
"Didn't feel like coming so I stayed at Andy's."
"You're still talking to her?"
"Yeah? Why wouldn't I?"
"No reason, I just wouldn't expect you to keep talking to your ex's best friend. Or should I say, ex best friend."
"Shes just easy to talk to. After everything with Alex, I can talk to her about anything."
"Okay dude, whatever helps you out. Just think before you do anything."
"I will, thanks Joe."
