I walked into the kitchen to see Calum sitting on the counter.

"Whats up?" I smiled.

"Do you want to go to a party with me tonight? At 7? I know its so sudden, I was just informed about it too." Calum asked shyly.

"Hmm, you don't see like the party type, Hood." I smirked.

"Im not." He smiled. "But Brad texted all the Varsity football guys on group chat and told them we all need to come with dates."

"Isn't that the guy thats was beating you up?" I asked looking at his semi purple eye.

"Y-yes, but, Im trying to get on his good side so doing this is a chance for me to do so."

I nodded. "Okay, yeah I will go. Im sure all the cheerleaders will be there anyways. Do I need to dress nice?" I asked, secretly dreading to dress up.

"Yeah we do." He said rolling his eyes.

"Okay well," I said looking at my phone. "Its 2 o'clock, ill go home at 5. Do you need a ride?"

"That would be great, thanks." He smiled cheekily.

"Shit, I totally forgot about my class in a hour!" Mali groaned, running inside to grab her laptop. "It was so nice to meet you Alex, see you tomorrow." She smiled rushing out the door.

"Tomorrow?" Calum asked confused.

"I invited your mom and your sister to spa day tomorrow with my mom and sister."

"Oh thanks for the invite." He scoffed, laughing.

"Its. girls day, sorry buddy." I chuckled.

"Oh my god! Lets bring out the photo album!" Joy said excitedly running into the house.

"Mum!" Calum groaned. "You only bring out the album if were dating."

"Like thats not gonna happen soon." Joy said nonchalantly.

I looked over at Calum and his eyes were wide.

"Mum!!!" He groaned louder.

Joy laughing silently. "I'll be right back."

"Be back soon." I smiled hugging Calum.

"Ill be waiting." He smiled down at me.

"It was such a pleasure to meet you Joy!" I called out to her.

"See you tomorrow honey!"

I said bye to Calum then went to my car.

As I was driving by, I past Luke's house.

Liz was outside watering the flowers with Jack. Jack saw me and waved. I waved back. Liz turned and looked at me. She waved me over. I took a deep breath & pulled over and got out.

"Lexi!" Jack smiled coming to me.

"Hi Jacky!" I laughed.

He hugged me and picked me up, spinning me around.

"Alex! Hi honey." Liz smiled lightly.

"Hi Liz, how are you?"

"Ive been better." She sighed.

Jack slung his arm around my shoulders.

"Im so sorry about Luke." She continued.
