Well, the day started normal at least.

I was working at the bar when Loki burst in. He looked quite distraught. His usually unruly mane of hair was now completely wild. His breathing was ragged, as though he'd been running. At his appearance, Lucy ran to him with a worried expression dawning her face. I followed, curious of what was happening.

"Leo? What are you doing here? Did something happen?" Lucy asked, a few others were now gathered around the discomposed celestial spirit.

"Something strange is happening in the Spirit World," he responded, "and I'm afraid it may spread to this one." We all listened intently as he explained what he had seen.

"Are the other spirits okay?" Wendy asked him. He shook his head.

"I don't know. When I saw the black clouds and what they did to another spirit, I told everyone to save themselves and I left." He looked suddenly weary as if a realization dawned on him.

"Loki, what is it?" I asked.

"The other spirits can't force themselves into this world like I can." Someone pulled up a chair and he collapsed into it. "How could I forget that? What if they're all gone?"

"I'm summoning Virgo," Lucy said and thusly did so. A moment later, a weak and injured Virgo was lying before her.

"Virgo!" Lucy dropped down and placed Virgo's head on her lap. "Virgo, what happened? Are the other spirits okay?"

She nodded. "For now. We found somewhere that the clouds couldn't reach. I'm not sure how long it will last though."

And that's how a normal day became anything but.
