Prologue
"Queen Ester! King Luke! There is a problem you need to come with us right away!"
Perfect. Our top two servents have come to us with yet, another problem. These last few days have been tourchureous! First the cameras checking the switch of magical beings to Corridor from the human world broke down, then the pathway marked forbidon was destroyed, what's next? Now I realize, these probelms aren't the servants fault but are my problem that has to be dealt with.
"Luke? Are you coming?" I ask as I rise from my chair. It hurts to put down such an amazing book.
"Someone has to watch the children," he groans. I smirk at that one.
"That's no excuse," I snap just before turning to the doorway.
I let Christopher and Amy lead the way until I stop dead in my tracks. My eyes grew wide at the sight. The bridge of Kiploft has been ruined. Quickly I assume a person did this, but then I saw the tree just snapped in half, it did this on its own. The bridge is breaking and all I can think about is my children, they are only one year old, my twins will have to lead this kingdom in a far worse problem than I.
CRASH! A bang was heard which startled me and jumped the servants.
"Your Majesty! We must hurry!" Yelps Amy and grabs my wrist. We teleport back to the castle to see a war has struck. Luke was out of the palace making orders, he left the kids alone here.
"Caren! Stay here, watch the children," I order.
"Yes ma'am."
I jog to the King up close to the battlefield, "What has happened?"
"The frog King, our betrayer, he is back," Luke is silent for a moment, "We must join them."
I take a few steps back as fear crawls up my spine. It doesn't matter how scared I am, this can not happen, I have to protect my country and my children.
Luke and I grab weapons and head out to the battle which is taking place minutes from the castle. I sway and fight my way through the crowd using their powers, water, fire, teleporting, using electricity, others with weapons by their sides defending the castle.
Suddenly I heard a loud scream which jerks my head to the left, Amy is at Christopher 's side who is dead on the ground covered in blue blood mixed with dirt and ash. A Hither had burnt his skin to the bone. I dodge an arrow and sprint through the spraying water and wind.
Someone calls my name and I don't recognize it until I see a frog transform into a human and stab Luke with a sword. I stand there frozen, I could do nothing, I was useless. Tears fell instantly the pain hurt me too much to move, until a sharp metalic sword goes through me. My blue blood sticking to the edges and suddenly, all I see is black.
