Why does pain follow me what did I ever do to deserve this. "Shut up you stupid whore.I wish I would have aborted your retarded ass" came my mother's hurtful words. I am lashaun Knowles and I'm mute well I can talk it's just I'm scared to. My mother abused me ever since I stopped talking she gave up on me and uses me as her own personal punching bag. "Ha the little bitch still doesn't want to make a sound" laughed my mom. This is my morning routine get beaten,shower,get dress go to school and be bullied. "Thats all for today be home by 3:15 I will increase your beating for every minute late you come". In my mind I'm thinking how can I get home 3:15 it's a 30 minute walk from school to my house and my school ends at 3:09 that means I have 6 minutes to receive hell.
At school
"Hey look it's the ugly mute" "Look at the freak" "Retard" "Bitch" "Whore" all of these and so much more are thrown at me as I walk down the halls of he-school. "Move out of my way you skank" said the schools slut Becky. I hang my head down and move aside only to be pushed down and kicked by Becky and her clique. I let silent tears escape my eyes as they go to their class the halls are deserted so I head to the restroom to clean myself up. I look around to make sure no one is around and I cry I cry like I have never cried before. My tears are stopped with the sound of the second period bell. I slowly get up and walk to class I'm glad I wear long clothes so my bruises don't show. "Ms.Knowles it is kind of you to finally join us please solve this equation"Said Ms.Ellis my math teacher. I make my way to the board and wince slightly as my hand raises to solve the equation I quickly write the answer to turn and see my teacher glaring at me only to turn it into a fake smile when she realizes I am staring at her." Have a seat and turn to page 95 in your text books we will be doing questions 1-50" said Ms.Ellis. I finish my work in the first thirty minutes and get balled up papers thrown at me with hurtful words. The bell rings for break and I walk into the cafeteria and see......
