Chapter fifteen

                  Calum's P.O.V

I couldn't believe what Luke was doing. On the first date for god sakes. I mean shouldn't he know that doing the dirty may end him up with two little kids? Apparently not. And what idiot would do that on the first date? I know he's nineteen and whatever, But still. He should know by now what that can lead too.

"Lucas Robert Hemming! Stop what you are doing and get up no!" Ashton yelled.

"Um, Ash I kinda need my clothes first." Luke said while sitting up.

"Then get dressed! Get her out! And get your butt down stairs, Now!" Ash yelled.

This won't end well. At least not for Luke. I'm just as mad at Luke as Ash is, But I don't think I could yell as bad as Ash could. Luke's gonna get it so bad!

"I'm sorry Luke. It was nice spending time with you. Thank you for having me over." Jessica said while giving him a sympathetic look and walking out the door.

"Down stairs, Now!" Ash yelled while pointing at the door.

We all trailed down stairs and I stayed clear of the living room for the fear of Ash loosing his cool.

"Luke, What the heck where you thinking? You know what we said about having girlfriends over. Now normally I would've been fine with her being in your room, But now since we know what that does, Do you really want two kids, With two different women? Because you're barely hanging on with just one kid. C'mon Luke, Think a little next time!" Ash spat.

"I know, I know. I'm just hurting. I mean how would you like it if you found out you had a kid, And missed out on a whole year, All most two years of their life, And then have your ex just throw your kid at you and leave, Huh? Bet you'd feel like crap. I'm hurt. She hurt me Ash. I just, I wish this never happened. I wish things were back to the way they used to be before Ella came around." Luke said.

I saw the look on his face the minute he said it, And I knew he regretted saying that.

"Ash, I-I didn't mean it that way. I just, It's hard okay? Being alone in this." Luke said while looking at Ella.

"Luke, Go. Just go for a walk, Clear your head, And come back when you've calmed down. I don't want you hurting Ella." I said.

"I would never hurt her, Calum. You know that." Luke said.

"Not after today, We don't. Just go Luke. Come back when you can be a father again. She's your daughter Luke, Don't be like her mother and leave her too. Cause lately you've been acting like her Patiance." I said.

Luke got up and ran out the door. I was just so angry with him, I probably took that farther then I should've, But he was being stupid. What else could I do?

"Ash, He's just upset over the fact that Patiance left him. What do you expect from him? He's a single parent and on the road with his band. He's going to mess up, He will learn from his mistakes. But please just be more understanding next time." Michael said as he tried to reason with him.

"That's not the point, Mike. He hasn't been here for Ella. He's sleeping with a girl he just met, And he's been anything but a father to Ella. I can't just let him destroy his relationship with Ella. He's all she has left. I can't see her become broken in the future due to Luke's dumb choices." Ash said.

Mike and I didn't say anything we just nodded our heads and walked away.

Ella began to cry because Luke's gone. So I tried everything I could to calm her down. But nothing worked. The only thing that will work is the person that's not here. Luke.

"Ash you need to go and find Luke. Ella wants him. And she's not letting me do anything for her. She wants Luke." I said.

"Fine, I'll call him and see where he's at." Ash said while dialing Luke's number.

Ashton seemed very angry on the phone when Luke picked up.

"Luke! Why did you go to a bar and get drunk, Huh? That's not going to solve anything. Just stay right there, I'm coming to pick you up!" Ash yelled and slammed his phone down on the table.

"Ash, Calm down. You're scaring Ella." I said.

"Cal, Just shut up! Take Ella up stairs. I need to go get Luke. The dumbass just had to go get drunk, Great! Another thing we have to deal with! Luke's getting on my nerves." Ash said while tying his shoes.

"Just please don't hurt him, Ash. He'll regret everything by tomorrow." I said.

"No promises!" Ash said and walked out the door.

This is going to be some night.

"It's okay baby girl. Daddy's just confused at the moment. He'll be him self by tomorrow. And he'll be all yours. You'll see." I said softly as I tried to calm Ella down.

"Have you tried her bottle or anything?" Mike asked as he stepped into Ella's room.

"I've tried everything. She just wants her daddy. But of course he's not here. What's taking Ash so long to go get him? He couldn't have gotten very far." I said.

Just as I said that Luke and Ashton walked in and Luke looked a little beat up.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Luke tried to fight with me, So I hit back. He's learned his lesson now. I've talked some sense into him." Ash said.

"Was it really worth hurting him though?" Mike asked.

"Well he wouldn't listen to me! That's what happens when you don't listen to me." Ash said while walking to the kitchen and getting an ice pack for Luke.

"Look, I'm sorry guys. I really am. I know I've been hurting Ella, I know I messed up. But I'm also human. I've learned my lesson. I won't ignore Ella anymore. And I won't have Jessica over anymore if that's what it takes to make Ella happy again." Luke said.

"No, We're not saying you can't have Jessica over again, Just make sure it's not all day. And make sure you take care of Ella too, Okay? And no more funny business with Jessica for a while, All right?" Calum said.

"All right. I'll be more smart about this." Luke said.

Luke took Ella from me and brought her to bed. I think Luke was being honest and will try to be a better father to Ella this round. He better, Other wise Ash will beat more sense into him. And that won't be pretty.

I just hope Luke keeps his word. I'd hate for this to go south again.

Sooo, Interesting chapter, Huh? Luke really messed up. I just hope he learns from this mistake and never does it again. I'd hate for this to go south an have Ella get taken away or something.
