Ignotia

It was quite a long drive to Ignotia. There were a few sitings of Novas on the way but the NOVA extermination squad made short work of those who got too close for comfort.

We finally reached our destination Ignotia. The city was huge. It seemed as if it would take at least four of my old town, Avon, to come close to this.

It had very high walls which I guessed were about 90 or more meters tall. I estimated it to be about 40 meters thick.

The city had buildings that almost reached the same height of the walls. Almost every building was at least 3 storeys talls. Most buildings had hige windows that made the place almost crystal clear.

"What to do first?" I said to no one in particular.

"Oh Vulcan," said Kurenai with a sly look on her face.

"Yes"

"Don't you remember your promise?"

"What promise?" I asked hoping she had forgotten about the ice-cream thing.

"The ice-cream!" She shouted jumping around for joy like a little kid.

"I didn't promise you any ice-cream."

"Yes you did."

"No I didn't."

She began foraging in her pocket for something. She took out her phone and a holographic projection popped up showing a recording of me telling her I was gonna get her ice-cream.

She was recording. She planned this. Why that son of a...

"Fine." I sighed.

We were walking for a good half hour before I realised I have no clue were to go. The only place I knew was the academy because the NOVA Extermination Squad (NES for short) told us how to get there.

I went up to a bunch of random people and asked if they could give me and Kurenai some directions. Everyone seemed to be busy and no one really cared.

Finally we got some directions and went to a shop. I bought two ice-creams. We then headed to a park we found earlier. It was getting dark and we weren't in the mood to walk so we sat there and watched the sunset.

I sat there for a while just watching before I decided it was time for us to go. I looked beside me to where Kurenai was sitting and.....

"..she fell asleep. Seriously,"I said out loud.

I sighed.

"This girl. How can you fall asleep?" I muttered.

"Well I can't just leave her here. Guess I'm carrying her to the academy."

I picked up Kurenai's sleeping body in a princess carry and proceeded to walk towards the academy.

As I was walking along the path to the academy I received multiple odd stares from passerbys. From men I received looks of jealousy and from women disgust. Eh? What did I do?

Tsk. Whatever...

I, after enduring hateful stares for a fair period of time, reached the academy. The layout was almost exactly same as my old academy so I felt confident in the fact that I would have no problems navigating it.

I went to the main office and asked which dorm room Kurenai Kazumi would be staying in.

The office attendant didn't seem to care and gave me the information almost instantly. Turns out she's located at dorm room number 39.

Well time to head out.......

I forgot that the different genders have different buildings for their separate dorm rooms and the other gender is prohibited from entering another gender's dorm. Violation of this can lead to a suspension.
