"Father?"
"What?" Robbie asks while he drives out of that place quickly.
"Th-The man. The man that exited the car before we left. He's my father." I ask confused of the whole situation. So, Mr Kay makes business with my father? But what type of business? What do they do or work on? How long has this been going on?
"Well," we make it out the forest and he parks at a side of the road. "I guess there is nothing we can do."
"Robbie!" I get his attention completely stressed out. This situation is simply unbelievable. "You haven't explained anything that is happening. I don't know what your father does why is my father even with yours. I am so confused out of my mind..." I pop my head between the passenger seat and his seat to have a better view of his face. "Who is this guy you call psycho?"
"Um," He rubs his face with both of his hands and sighs loudly. "Chris. Please. Can we not talk about this in here. It's-"
"No! I want to know answers. You call your father a psycho for a reason. My father is having some type of business with your father and I want to be aware."
"You were never aware before. Why now?"
"Because before I didn't know but now I kno-"
"That's not a convincing answer." I sigh.
Not knowing what to do, I try hopping to the front seat next to him. The sky was really dark and the only light visible was the car lights reflecting onto some rocks in front of us. The moon was covered by the long high pine trees making even darker and scarier out here.
I fixed myself on the seat and turned to face Robbie. He was now looking at me. He has been looking at me. He licked his lips and turned to look at the car's clock. 6:21 pm.
"Time passes quickly." He almost murmurs.
"Yeah." I say back even though probably he was talking to himself. "I'm scared."
"Why?" he looks at me slightly interested in my answer.
"Why do you call your father a psycho?"
Robbie looks straightforward and doesn't say anything. I mean, why would he? He is clearly talking to stranger and this stranger is probably asking something really personal for him. But The stranger's father is having business with his father. Probably buiness that sooner or later can affect the whole family. That probably can affect me.
"Where do you live?" I sigh and close my eyes knowing I won't get answers tonight. Or never.

Once we made it to the front of my house, I grabbed all of the groceries that were all over the floor inside Robbie's car and fixed them inside the bags. I held the bags on my arms and stayed seated waiting for Robbie at least to say something.
"So..." he trailed off. If I guess right, he probably just wanted me out of his car as soon as possible. Ruining his and his father's relationship wasn't what i had planned today although it didn't seem like there was much to ruin.
"Okay." I get out of his car and make my way to my door.
"Chris!" He calls out. I turn around. I don't know but i was feeling hopeful about something.
"Yes?" I reply nervously. Is he going to ask to see me again? Will he try and get some connection to me? Ask for my number or e-mail?
"Forget tonight." he says coldly and drives off.
I felt my stomach clench as I saw the lights of his car disappear down the road. I closed my eyes and looked up at the stars. My parents would always to talk to the stars when I felt lonely. That every time I feel angry, sad, weak, or even happy, to talk to the stars because they will always be there. And they will always be listening.
