Chrissy.

After waking up at 7:00, remembering I still had to go to school, I did my eyeliner and wore my dark red almost bloody lipstick. I wore some black jeans, black shirt with a white smiley face on it, some black combat boots, and my black leather jacket. Yes, I wore all black but but it was an amazing way to show people at school to not talk to me. Not that I hate humans but I'd rather be alone. I grabbed my yellow Jan-sport and walked to school since my car stayed in the beach from when I met Thomas.

Thomas. I didn't see signs of him today in the morning. It may be too early for him but I remember him telling me last night while washing the dishes that he'll be gone in the morning and coming back at 3:00 pm to 'make sure I'm safe at home'. It was funny but yet cute. I seriously like Thomas for being so caring with me and all. He actually listens to me and advises me a lot. I appreciate him so much. I hate the fact that I still think that Thomas grew feelings for me. I mean, he is twenty-five and I am sixteen. That would be very illegal and I know Thomas is not that kind of person. Although I wish he was.

While thinking, I didn't even realize I made it to school so soon. I walked through the hall making my way to my class room. As I finally took my seat which was next to the window, and took notice of the fifteen minutes I had left until the bell and I definitely wouldn't waste them so I took my time to think. Think of it all. Everything that happened yesterday was so quick yet I felt it all happen in slow motion. But okay Chrissy, it's a new day. Breathe new air. I took a deep breathe and looked around making sure no one was around. The teacher was but he didn't take notice of me. Good.

So let me flashback myself.

I met a random stranger in the beach whom even before I turned around to see him, I felt something strange pound in my heart. After offering a home and settling him inside of my house, he quickly took notice of some strange situations in my house but nothing was said. Afterwords, I went to the store and while buying groceries, a random stranger complimented me with chocolate and somehow secretly hid a pack of cigarettes inside my coat pocket. I walked out the store, an alarm went off, and I ended up inside his car while he drove me to his house because 'it's better' and then, I met his father, Ivan, whom I discovered, makes dirty works with my father. This Ivan guy, is basically a psycho, according to his son for some reason. I was dropped of back home safely and almost knocked out with a pan by my mother. I cocked some dinner with this famous stranger and now he knows the 20% of the background of my life. While getting ready for bed, the same guy, thief I think of him, sneaked into my room and basically saw me naked. Kissed my neck, ripped my bra, and attacked me with a knife yet I was not harmed. (Only from my mother) Although these both strangers revealed to me yesterday that they will never leave my side since "Forever" is a really long time.

Without noticing, the classroom was almost full of annoying rats. I call my fellow student mates rats, by the way. I pulled out my notebook and was ready to write notes since this was my Math Class. After writing notes and hearing a bunch of gossiping between the cheerleaders, the bell finally rang so I went to my next class. So on and so on until the office called me during my third period class. Once in, there was my mom, sitting on one of the seats that principle Garcia has in there. I sat on the other one and I coldly glared at the clock for not hurrying up and letting me out. I know I barely walked in but, ugh, I hate theses two people.

"Ms. Costanza..." The Mr. Garcia began.

"Mrs. Johnson, actually." My so called mother corrected.

"Yes, the reason why I called both of you in today morning is for the simple reason that Christina..."

"Chrissy, actually." I mimicked my mother so she could get mad.

"Stop." My mother warned.

"May I continue? The principle said annoyed at our interruptions.

"Yes." My mother answered.

"Whatever." I answered yet murmured.

"Getting to the point, Chrissy was reported leaving her third period class early and not attending her fourth, fifth, and sixth classes which she also skipped her fifth period's class test." The Mr. Garcia said.

"Oh, so she did ditch?" My mother glared at me coldly but of course, making sure the Mr. Garcia wasn't looking as he looked through some papers that were in the drawer of his desk. Once he sat up with my school folder, he spoke again.

"According with her student files, she's missed two days of school and the day she came, we discovered several cuts and bruises on her body. I wanted to clarify that. Chrissy said that she got in a car accident and she wasn't able to come to school but we couldn't receive no hospital notice so I wanted to ask you, Mrs. Johnson, is this true or is there something I don't know about? Since I have to take notice of my students. If this car accident was false information, we came up with the conclusion that maybe she was beaten up badly, by who? We don't know. But we need to know what actually happened."

And now that I remember, that day before heading to school, Mother was angry at me for not cleaning the house the night before so she locked me inside the basement and beat me to death by throwing me anything that was in the way and of course, by kicking me and slapping me. I at least had respect for her and didn't harm back but that doesn't mean my anger towards her is non existing. I didn't go for two days as I lay there in the basement. I was only one day in the basement, the next morning, I somehow had to stand up and walk up the stair and make it to my room before my mom could see me. I waited until next morning as I took a shower, wore a little bit more make up than normal, which didn't help to cover up the scars and bruises, and left to school. That day, they called me to the office in first period and I lied about having a car accident to simply protect Mother. What else could she do? Kill me?

"Um," Mother looked at me but quickly answered to not make this so suspicious. "Indeed, Mr. Garcia. My daughter did have a car accident. The day I was called in, you were absent, sir, so I talked to one of the counselors but nothing seemed to work out. But if you wanted to clarify anything, no she wasn't beaten up by anyone. She was in a terrible car accident. She was driving to school and some driver simply hit her and made her car go flying."

"I'm impressed she didn't brake any bones, Mrs. Johnson."

"Well, my daughter is such a strong girl and smart too. She had her seat belt on."

"If she had her seat belt one, how come she had so many bruises? I would accept some cuts on her face but they were all over her torso, legs, and even her back which could be so impossible to damage if she would've had her seat belt on, and if she didn't have her seat belt on, she would've at least broken a bone." Something tells me Mr. Garcia is not buying anything my Mother is stating.

"Well, I am also confused, Mr. Garcia. I don't know how she could've gotten a lot of injuries but I assure you, we didn't touch her." Did Mother just give herself away?

As the principle gave her one last look, he then looked at me. His eyes read something but I didn't catch anything as he cleared his throat.

"Mrs. Johnson, I never mentioned any of her injuries coming from you or anyone else who accompanied you as, of course, you said 'we'." He looked at her once more and continued. "I'll be sending someone to your house this afternoon at five. You have to be present. I'm not assuming anything but with the information you gave me, I have to make sure this is not some lie. We need to get to the bottom of this. It's not good for a student like Chrissy, to be absent so much." The principle said and looked at me and gave me a small smile before standing up walking towards the door. "You are dismissed."

Mother, without looking at me, stood up and quickly made her way out with a small thank you. I than stood up and made my way towards the door. When I passed by my principle, he whispered something in my ear that made me want to celebrate and thank him so much but at the same time, scared me.

"I know what happened."
