Hoseok was on the roof. He had decided to watch the fireworks by himself. He wanted to ask Yoongi but he didn't have the courage to. He never has any fucking courage, he bitterly thinks to himself.
He takes a swig of his beer. After the fireworks, he thinks that he might jump off the roof. What's the point of even being alive? Everyday seemed like an endless hell. Originally, he was going to drink and smoke himself to death but he doesn't know how long he can take this.
He's tired. He's so fucking tired of being alone. Yoongi's there but they never talk. Yoongi's a ghost that Hoseok can't seem to find a way to talk to.
Suddenly, the fireworks begin and Hoseok watches. The sky lights up with fireworks. He ends up seeing Yoongi's hair color before it started fading.
Yoongi, he thought angrily to himself. Yoongi, Yoongi, Yoongi. All he ever fucking thinks about is Yoongi and he's tired of it. He's tired of thinking of him. Everywhere he went something always reminded him of Yoongi.
Hoseok didn't realize he was crying until he noticed the tight grip he had around his beer bottle then suddenly, he threw it to the ground. He watched as the glass of the beer bottle shattered. This reminded him of Yoongi because Yoongi was like glass. He could shatter at any moment.
Hoseok clenched his teeth as he let out a sob and that's when he climbed up to stand on the edge.
He looked down, seeing no one. He saw a couple of cars pass by but nobody stopped. Hoseok could do this. He could end all of this. All of these constant thoughts of Yoongi.
Just as he was about to jump, somebody grabbed him by the waist and pulled him down. And of course, it just had to be fucking Yoongi.
Yoongi stared at him. He was starting to cry. "What were you doing?!" He shouted at Hoseok. "I..." Hoseok trailed off and glanced back over towards the edge. He was so close. So, so close.
Hoseok then shook his head quickly and tried to get out of Yoongi's grip. "Yoongi, please! You have to let me do this!" Hoseok sobs, trying to get Yoongi off of him.
Yoongi just shakes his head and then does something he did not expect Yoongi to ever do. Yoongi hugs him.
"I-I care about you, Hoseok." He whispers into his shoulders and although the fireworks are going off, he can still hear Yoongi. He can hear Yoongi's sobbing.
Hoseok lets himself wrap his arms around Yoongi's waist. He hugs him tightly, hoping that is he held him tight enough that he would stop crying. He didn't like it when Yoongi cried.
Suddenly, Yoongi's pulling away from the hug and cupping Hoseok's cheeks. "You could h-have talked to m-me, Hoseok." He whispers, leaning his forehead against Hoseok's. "I would have h-helped y-you." Then, Yoongi's kissing him.
Hoseok's eyes widen. He's kissing Yoongi. He and Yoongi are kissing at this exact moment. Hoseok's not sure if Yoongi's kissing him out pity or what but he still kisses back because it's the closest to somebody actually giving a damn about him and nobody ever gave a damn about Hoseok.
Hoseok grabs Yoongi's waist and squeezes it lightly, pulling him even closer. Yoongi rubs his soft thumb against Hoseok's cheek as he tilts his head to get a better angle. Then, Hoseok pulls away to look at Yoongi.
His cheeks are a tinted pink, a little bit darker than the color of his pretty lips and he now has his arms wrapped around his neck, sitting in Hoseok's lap. God, Hoseok thinks. He could get used to this.
Hoseok leans their foreheads against each other's again. Telling him softly, "I care," He says. "I care about you too." I always have, he thinks to himself.
