July 28th, 2009.
I was at the playground a couple of blocks away from my childhood home.
Keep in mind here, I was five years of age at this time.
Anyways, I was playing in the sand. Getting it inside of my shoes and stuck in between crevices in my toys I'd bring.
My aunt...Jade, she'd always bring me to the playground. Or anywhere in general. She'd bring me to the newest movies, public events, or she would even bring me gifts back from a lot of places she has traveled to. She's actually one of the wealthiest in the family.
My mothers side, that is.So there I was, in the sand.
Aunt Jade was sitting over at the benches. Watching me play.
At this point in time, she was only a young thirty year old. The child in me though, admittedly thought she was one of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
She walks over to me in the sandpit, and sits down, taking off her shoes.
"Whatcha doing, sport?" She asked.
I look up at her. Picking up and showing her one of the toys.
"Trucks." I replied.
"Aww cool! May I play with the trucks with you?"
I nod.
She picks up my red monster truck.
Dragging it, as if it's driving, along the sand.
I put down the blue truck I had, and started moving the sand with my hands.Pushing it out of the way, and smoothening it to make a race track.
I did this tell it completely surrounded me."There." I said.
"Race around this track with that truck. It will be fun. I'll even race you and we'll see who can win!" I added.
We began at the starting line. I sat in the middle of the circle track, while she sat at the outer rim.
"Go!"
We raced our trucks, riding off jumps of sand I added, purposely making drifts and sounds, and I even added drops.
Two laps, and I won.
"Awww nooo!" Aunt Jade says.
You could tell she said that just to make me feel proud.
That's why I liked my parents. That's why I liked Aunt Jade. But everything changed.
