Karl walked through the cobbled streets with his colt out, in case any zombie had decided it fun to ambush him.

He headed for the Reichstag, the location where the doctor was last reported to be.

He stepped into the wrecked interior and surveyed his surroundings. The walls were cracking under multiple explosions, and the ceiling didn't look like it could hold for long.

The sniper went deeper into the building, in hopes of finding the strange fedora german.

A sudden groan could be heard from the corridor to his right, he and spun to point his pistol to that direction. He blasted the zombie in its head, blood spurting out from his head as it got knocked off completely, it's body falling soon after.

The gunshot had apparently alerted the other zombies his presence, and they gurgled and screamed, their sounds echoing through the walls of the main hall.

'Shit,' Karl internally cursed as he took out his rifle.

Things were about to get messy.

Slowly but surely, the undead soldiers came out from their position and all headed for him.

There were at least 50? Maybe even 70? Karl couldn't be sure, they were still filing out from the corridors.

He threw a dynamite at their direction before running back to a safe position. Upon firing, the soldiers exploded into fountains of blood, bits and pieces of their body littered the ground.

It had taken away the bulk of the group at least, and Karl proceeded to sniper away at the rest.

A scream interrupted his focus. It was a human scream.

He pulled away from the scope to try and locate the source of the sound, only to see a man firing away frantically at a group of zombies on the second floor.

Karl took aim, and fired at the attacking bunch, freeing the man from death's clutches.

The rest were taken down rather quickly, and Karl finally took this chance to change to a set of fresh magazines for his rifle.

The man made his way down to Karl's location and took his hand into his.

"Oh, I cannot zhank you enough! You saved my life!"

Karl smiled awkwardly as his hands were shaken repeatedly by the german, he removed his hands from his as he calmed down from the excitement.

"I'm Karl Fairburne, you must be Dr Schweiger,"

"Ah! Ja ja, I am, yes! You are here to help me, yes?"

"Yes, I was told I could find you here,"

The two of them left the building quietly, in hopes of not sparking another wave of zombies upon themselves.

The sniper then took out the next picture, bearing the face of the russian, he flipped the photo around.

'Veteran of the Red Army. Although he is very patriotic, he did not seem to respond well to a chain of command, as he had been nearly charged with insubordination on several occasions, though he was loyal those he considers "deserving". He had survived many horrors during his military service, some of which were cited as being worse than the Zombie Apocalypse.'

"He's seen worse? Mein gott! This guy must have been to hell already!"

Karl was definitely not going to have silence by his side by the time he found Boris.

He stuffed the picture back into his chest pocket before turning to the doctor.

"Can you handle sniper rifles?"

The doctor seemed to ponder at this, "Well, I was forced to hold one when the Russians invaded-"

"That's good enough for me," Karl interrupted. He needed assistants who could shoot as well as they do their specialisation. It was all necessary to survive this Goddamm zombie apocalypse.

"We just need to find a safe house,"

At this the doctor eyes widened, "I know one! It's only nearby! Come, come! I know the way there!"

Karl followed the doctor through the ruined city.

This was going to be one hell of an adventure.
