Hailey's POV

It is only Tuesday morning and I was already tired. Why couldn't it be the weekend!! Don't judge me. Even you know that that's the first thing that comes to your mind every morning when you get out of bed. The biggest tragedy is that I didn't get a sufficient amount of my beauty sleep. Well even 12 hours is not enough for me but this time I really mean it. I think I only slept for 4 hours.

It was the most terrifying experience of my entire life.

Ashley got the message that if she would talk to me, she would basically be committing suicide. Normally she wouldn't have liked it. But I think she was in a similar state. I saw her tossing and turning all night and I bet she noticed I was doing that too. But we were too tired to talk. Plus, we both needed space and some alone time to get over the shock of yesterday.

************

So as usual I am working automatically, since when I am sleepy my brain goes on auto-mode, and I have just realised that I am in my third class, waiting for the teacher to enter after the short break is over. Wow, that was pretty fast!! People say that the time goes pretty slowly when you want the day to end fast. But maybe because I practically have no idea what I am doing, I don't have an idea about the time also.

Wait what subject's class is it again??! I am a genius... Not the SARCASM. I took the folder out of my desk, where I had stuck a copy of my Time Table. After I knew which class it was, my head immediately shot to my left. And then I realised that I wasn't sitting in the front today. I know I talked about making an impression on the teacher and stuff but I think 75% of my task was over yesterday. Plus, if I sat in the first bench, I would lose all the impression I made, because I was yawning very frequently and was spacing out A LOT.

My eyes scanned the entire room for that one person, for "The Boy on my Left Side." Have I seriously named him that? ANYWAYS.

He was coincidentally still on my left side. Well not exactly. He was sitting in the row in front of me, so he was basically sitting across me. So I was sitting in the 4th row and he in the 3rd .... I am just trying to make it clear...

Before I could talk to him, as usual the teacher entered. I knew something like this would happen considering my awesome luck. #SARCASM.

The class started, and everything was happening like it happened yesterday. I kept multitasking i.e taking notes, having an unspoken competition with the "Person at the back" (I seriously needed to stop giving people names...), whose name I later found out to be Nick Rivers, and giving glances to the boy from time to time. The "Boy on my Left Side" l certainly did not look sleep deprived. Whereas me and Ashley were looking like zombies, since we didn't get enough rest, and it was all because of the boy who right now looked well rested.

NOT FAIR

That's when suddenly my luck pitied me , I think. Why else would I catch a glance of the name of the "Boy on my Left Side..", which was written on his folder. It was hanging slightly from the table, and luckily hanging on my side.

I was a little disappointed once I saw his name. It was certainly not what me and Ashley had expected...

Still I couldn't wait to tell Ashley about it..

Ashley's POV

I was sitting in the canteen, waiting for Hailey to turn up, so that we could take our food together. She really had faced a lot in her past. She blamed herself for the death of her brother, which I found totally stupid. She had just got over it and then this mystery boy decided to turn up. This is just sickening.

And then I spotted her, running towards the table that I was sitting on as if a murderer was chasing her. I swear if she didn't get the boy's name today I will kill her. She finally reached my table and was panting like a dog after he had had his morning run.. lol. She took out her water bottle and kept gulping like her life depended on it.

She eventually sat down and her breathing became even.

"So what was so urgent?, you looked like a chimpanzee when you were running." I said and I burst out laughing seeing her scowl.

"You will regret making fun of me, Miss Simons" she said smirking and now it was my turn to scowl.

"I found out the guy's name... And I am not gonna tell you, not until you say that Hailey is the best person in the world and I am an idiot." She said the smirk never leaving her face.

I seriously wanted to wipe it off her face by shoving my fist into her face, but violence was never the answer.

"I am certainly not going to say that..."

"Ok then.." she said and stood up and going towards the line to get her food. My curiosity got the best of me, so I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, because of which she landed on her chair pretty ungracefully.

"Hailey is the best person in the world and I am an idiot... NOW TELL ME HIS FREAKING NAME!!!"

"His name is...." She said dragging it creating suspense. This lady was seriously signing her own death note. She knew better than to test my patience.

"Peterson, Harry Peterson." Now that was very disappointing.
