Hailey's POV:

It was winter break and the first semester was officially over. I can't believe I survived the exams. There was so much to do in just a month. It was exhausting.. But now its over and I am waiting for my flight to land...

Its not going to land anytime soon though. It just started. I had other plans though like to stay back at campus, chill with Ashley, go for movies and stuff, but my parents, well they had different ideas.

So here I am on a flight going back to England. I plugged in my earphones, and started reading a magazine. I had this gut feeling that I just couldn't put a finger on. From my experience in life of long 18 years, I have learnt that I have this feeling whenever something bad happens. It is not true all the time though. Thinking that it will eventually disappear, I didn't even realize when I dozed off.

I woke up just when the flight was about to land. Not wanting other people to have nightmares about how I look after I wake up, I pulled out my pocket mirror and checked if I looked presentable. I was surprised to see that I actually did.

Usually when I wake up my hair is a tangled mess, and I look like a monster. I don't understand why people associate sleep with the phrase "Beauty Sleep" when you get up looking so....

Never mind.

I was soon out, and was searching for our new driver, since the first one was with Hayden in the accident.. Well imagine my surprise when I saw Zach waiting for me.. like whaatttt???

We exchanged our greetings and he gave a bouquet of flowers, that was soo verryyy not like Zach.. As if he had read my mind he said

"I am not as bad as you think Hailey.."

I was too dumbstruck to reply so instead I just nodded my head.

He opened the door for me and then sat in the driver's seat. We were both sitting in an uncomfortable silence until he said,

"Your parents had somewhere important to go, so the driver had to go with them, which explains why I am here.."

I was staring at him like I had seen a donkey standing over a horse, and he was clearly uncomfortable under my gaze.

"What?" I bet he had wanted to ask me in an intimidating manner but it came out in a high pitched squeal, like a scared kitten's.

I couldn't help but to burst out laughing." You are still scared of me aren't you." There had been this one incident where he had eaten my ice-cream and I had beaten him up real bad.

He turned his attention to the road and ignored my statement. I was shaking with silent laughter.

"Will you just stop laughing. I am not scared of you, never was and never will be." He said in frustration.

"You are"

"Am Not "

"Are So"

"AM NOT"

"ARE SOOOOOO"

"Fine leave it."

"Okay."

And then we both burst out laughing. Maybe he has changed. Anyways I am not going to jump onto any conclusions.

"By the way, why did you go so far to USA when there are so many other good universities here?"

"Well Ashley and I always had a dream to go there since we were little, and yeah.."

It was partially true. I didn't trust him enough to tell him that I had gone there to get away from this place and to move on from Hayden's death. I didn't want him to see my vulnerable side. So I wasn't lying, I was hiding the truth.

"Oh come on you should come back here, you know its closer to your family, and you will get amazing scholarships too. I heard you are not on a full scholarship over there. I have done some research and there are universities willing to give you a full scholarship even if you join mid-semester."

"Thanks but I am happy where I am. And you didn't have to do the research before even consulting me about it."

"You know I am right. Anyways I have the forms and the details, I will give them to you later. In case you change your mind later."

I opened my mouth to argue but decided against it and just nodded. We both didn't speak after that. I leaned my head against the window and stared outside getting lost in my thoughts.....
