CHAPTER 6

Mr.Blare

I woke up with a start. CRAP. I fell asleep. I got out of the room and went down stairs. Ram sevak told me that Leah had gone out and said that she would be back in a while. For all I knew she went to "his" house. I groaned. I went straight to the study. I saw a note on my desk

It said,

DAD I DON'T FEEL GOOD SO I'M GOING TO SU'S HOUSE FOR A WHILE.

I knew it. She would obviously go there.

I PROMISE I'LL BE BACK BEFORE 8 OKAY. I SENSE YOU HAVE SOME MORE TALKING TO DO, SO WE'LL HAVE SOME FATHER - DAUGHTER TIME WHEN I COME BACK KAY?

LOVE

LAISHA.

I looked up at the clock. " Three more hours" I mumbled to myself.

I looked at the signature at the end of the letter. I smiled. That was her Indian name. Reena always loved that name for some reason, so we named our princess Laisha.

I winced at the thought of my beloved. I sat down on the chair and stared at her picture. Oh god! So beautiful. I started retracing all my memories of her.

The church bells made a loud noise. It was the most happiest moment of my entire life. Ren looked like an angle in her wedding dress. I can't explain how dazzling she looked. "She's mine, and I'm hers", a tear rolled down my cheek.
Reena looked at me with shock .
" Ray whats' wro-"

"I'm just..." I cut her off " I'm just so so happy right now....I ....I couldn't hold it in...."

I sobbed a bit and pulled her close, making our foreheads touch each other. She blushed. "So cute" I thought. She looked. Her eyes were watery. A tear rolling down  her cheek. I lifted her head and kissed her cheek. She smiled and whispered " I love you more Mr.Blare." At first I was embarrassed, but then I leaned in and whispered, " Nope, I love you most Mrs.Blare." She looked so adorable. She laughed and kissed me. I kissed her back .

Everyone applauded us. Reena laughed so hard. I just stood there looking at her, holding her in my arms. This was one of the best days of my life. I carried my queen, princess style and we went towards the car. She loved those old model cars so I got one custom made, just for her. She was so happy that she was about it jump out of my arms!

"OH MY GOD! RAY I LOVE THIS! OH MY GOD!!"

She looked just like a child. It didn't look like she was 20.

I let her in the car and we drove off to our special place......

I realised it was already 8. Leah should be back by now. I went downstairs to ask for her.

"LEAH" I shouted out, hoping to get an answer.

"Sir she hasn't arrived yet" Ram sevak said as he bowed his head.

"Shit" I mumbled. Where is she?

"Tell the guards to go look for her." I ordered. Ram sevak bowed and left the sight in a second. He too loved Leah like as if she were his daughter. After he lost his daughter Leah was like her replacement for the old man's damaged heart. I went out of the mansion and sat in the car. I drove to that "boy's " house. She did say that she was going there.

When I reached I saw Leah and "him" at the gate. She was saying her goodbyes to him. I parked the car and walked towards them. "He" saw me coming and said," Hello uncle!".

"Yes hello Suketh" I made sure my voice was stern enough.

"Dad?" Leah had a surprised look on her face.

" I thought you said you'd be back home before 8"

"Sorry daddy I was just about leave"

"It's okay" I smiled, " Cummon now get into the car"

"Yes" She looked at Suketh and waved at him.
" Goodbye Su" She said. She had a sad smile on her face.
I rolled my eyes, " Princess let's go."

We walked towards the car and she sat in. I called Ram sevak and told that I had found Leah. We drove back to the mansion.
When we got home she gave me peck on my cheek and said," I'll change and come down for dinner dadddy"
I nodded and we got out of the car.

Time skip

After dinner Leah went back to bed after we had a long chat. I laid down on my bed. I looked to my right. Was I hoping for something? Yes, I was hoping if I could see my queen again. I put my hand on her side of the bed. It was cold. Her pillow was cold too. That's it. I couldn't hold it in. I grabbed her pillow and hugged it." It still has her aroma on it" I thought. I began to cry. I have never cried like this before have I? The lonelyness was killing me. Yes I had my Leah. But still. I had no one who I could be myself with. No one with whom I could play around, laugh, sing, dance, and do all sorts of crazy stuff. That one person who filled my heart was now gone.

"Why.......why did you have to go......I love you so much.....please.....come back...."

I cried into the pillow. And slowly I slipped into deep sleep.
