{Annette POV}

[four days after]

Oh my...oh my...

My mind couldn't even seem to gather the information I had just received. It was...it was...no. I wouldn't accept that.

"Annette. Annette." I heard Mum say. Apperently my thinking had put me in a trace.

"Y-yeah."

"You okay, dear?"

I looked up at her. My eyes were full of sorrow and pain. "A-am..." I struggled for words. "Am I...supposed to be...?"

Thankfully, she understood exacty what I meant. She always did, that's what I loved about her. She always knew what was happening, or what had happened. She always understood, and she always helped in any way she could.

"N-no...I guess not..."

She looked down. I could tell she was trying to be strong...for me.

I sat, well my knees kinda gave out, causing me to fall-sit onto my bed, Mum still starring at the ground, in front of me. I tried to contain myself, but couldn't. I started sobbing into my hands. I couldn't help it. I then turned, pulling my feet onto the bed, and laid on my stomache, quietly sobbing into my pillow. I hadn't noticed Mum leave, she just wasn't there anymore. I assumed she left the room, not wanting me to see her break down. I understood. She was doing right. Even though I knew it was a fake act of strength, and that she was truly as sad as I was, it still helped not to see it.

{Logan POV}

Where am I?! Darn it. I'm lost. I've been gone four days. I didn't even say goodbye! Mum'll be worrying by know. Heck! She's probably been worrying since an hour after I left!

I sighed.

I had gone to Annie's, as planned, only to find a closed store. So I started to walk home. About half way to my home, I was greeted by some boys from school. Jack Lubbock and his..."friends". They started talking to me, trying to find something...anything. Any reason to start a fight. But I wanted no part of it. I tried to get away but it wasn't working. Jonny walked up. Thank God. He pulled me away, saving me from any trouble that the situation could've amounted to. I stayed the night at his house that night. We played with some toy trains he had. That morning I left his house, planning to go home. Once again i was stopped half way. "LOGAN! LOGAN!" I had heard from behind me. I turned, recognising the girls voice. "Quin. Quin." I had replied, weakly mocking her. "Come on! That's the wrong way!" "What?!" "Aren't you coming?!" "WHERE?!" "To the party!" "WHAT PARTY!!" "AT JACOB HANNSEN'S BARN!!" "Oh...thank you!" I rolled my eyes. "And no, I am not going. I have to get home-" "Oh come on!" She then raced up to me and grabbed my wrist. She practicly dragged me the whole two and a half mile journey. We all slept there in the barn that night. The next day was a thunder storm, causing us to all be stuck there. And now I'm here...lost in a field. Ugh.
