Ash's P.O.V:

"Who are you?" A security guard questioned, eyeing us with scrutiny.

"How did you get up here?" Another asked.

Rolling my eyes, I switched to a no-care, snobby attitude.

"This is Floor Three, isn't it?" I smirked annoyingly.

The first security guard, his tag read George, nodded.

"Why are you up here?" The second guard, Simon, asked threateningly.

"Great." I clapped my hands together, smiling widely. "My name is Ash King and I have a flight scheduled here." I glanced at my phone. "In ten minutes. So if you'll excuse me," I pushed past them, "I have a flight to catch."

Simon positioned himself in front of us again. "Uh huh, right. And she is?" He motioned to Melanie.

This is where Mel stepped in. "I am his father's, brother's, 2nd cousin's, step daughter's best friend."

Simon and George just stared at us. Then Simon addressed me. "Her name."

I smiled. "Her name is Esmerelda Darciss."

I hurriedly texted the names to my old friends, then said, "If you have a problems with our flight plans, then just ask Bella."

The guards didn't react. Simon simply asked, "Bella?"

I smirked. I had them now. "Isabella Louise Branwell, of course. Good Lord, I'll call her."

The guards just stared as I dialed my old friends number. Seven irritating rings later, she picked up.

"What do you want Ash?"

I chuckled, holding the phone to my ear. "Nice to hear from you too, Bella. But listen, I need a favor."

I laughed as I heard her sigh. "Ugh, you always do. What is it this time?"

I explained our situation to her, mentioning Mel's "name" several times so she got it. Finally,  after questioning why I stole one of my friends names, she spoke the magic words.

"Put me on speaker."

I did as she asked, saying "okay," so she knew that she was now on speaker.

"Okay, you two," She paused, and I could see her standing next to me, like the old days, pointing at them. She continued, "need to let my two friends on the next flight to our Michigan extension. Ka-peesh?"

The guards looked undisturbed. "How do we know that you really are Miss Branwell?" Mel, still standing on my right, smirked, "Do you really want to question her? I mean, come on, just check the system."

Simon and George eyed her with contempt. She shot them a withering look and I chuckled at the exchange.

Another guard approached, her blonde hair in a tight bun. Her name tag read "Lucy".

"They're on the list, sirs." She said, bowing her head at the men. They ignored her.

Mel must have noticed, and was not happy. "Why are you letting these men be jackasses to you? Don't you have any self respect? They should be bowing to you."

The male guards ignored them and said, "Fine, let them on." Then he spoke to me, saying, "Jet leaves in 5."

Lucy looked hopefully at Mel, whispering, "Thank you."

We exited the jet, squinting at the bright sun. I saw a small blonde girl rushing towards us. She looked like she had a phone in each hand.

"Ash!" She called.

"Esmerelda..." I whispered, recognising the voice. Melanie shot me a look, recognising her fake name.

She stopped in front of us. She looked a lot better than when I left. Her light blonde hair was falling in waves around her shoulders, and her green eyes were shining. So much different from the fragile girl I left behind.

She leaped into my arms, kissing me. Her tongue in my mouth, mine respectively in hers.

I opened my eyes enough to see Mel staring in disgust. Suddenly I felt guilty.

But why? I'm not involved with anyone..

My thoughts drifted to Blu, and my lips let go of Es's.

"I.. can't." I said, unwrapping her legs from my waist.

"I'm not here for you Es, I'm sorry."

She let go, dropping down to about Mel's shoulder, her face staring at her hightops. For a split second, I thought I saw a crack in her facade.

Melanie looked relieved, but I couldn't shake the guilt out of my heart.

Is this what Blu felt like?

We all standing just inside the private airport, identical to the one back in Florida. Es had given us the other phone she had been holding, and we immediately recognised it as Blu's.

I took the phone from Mel, typing in again what I knew to be her passcode.

-2366-

The keyboard shook as it was deemed incorrect. I growled, then started to think about my own passcode, which was 2586, and how it spelled out Blu6. I wondered if hers could be like mine..

Hesitantly, I typed in the numbers that would have spelled out "Ash5".

-2745-

I smiled as her keyboard drifted away to show her home screen. My smile dropped as I realised what it said.

The pictures, she must have edited them together- she chose as her home screen said, "You can't save the damsel if she loves her distress," and "All the drugs in this world won't save her from herself."

I hurriedly locked the phone, ignoring recent messages, and shoved it in my pocket. "Her passcode was 2745," I growled at Melanie.

I looked up from my shoes, meeting Esmerelda's eyes. "She's the one you came for, isn't it?" She seemed so disappointed.

I nodded, feeling sad as well. "Yeah, sorry Es." I smiled slightly, looking down at the short girl. "She was kidnapped."
