Just a nobody

Chapter 5

Madi's P.O.V

"Are your parents home?" I ask.

"My dad left us when I was born and my mum works at night." He says.

   "Do you wanna stay here tonight? I could take you to school tonorrow."

   "What will people say if they see us arriving at school together. They'll assume-"

   "I'm not going to school tomorrow." I can't see Louis. Not yet anyway. Besides tomorrow is just a friday. Nothing exciting ever happens.

  "Ok. So where do I sleep?" He says yawning.

  I have a pullout bed so I just gave him that, a pillow, and a blanket. I yawn and turn off the light. I get into bed and close my eyes.

Marcel's P.O.V

"Night Madi." I say softly.

"Night Marcel." She says sleepily. I can't stop thinking about that kiss. It was amazing. I felt sparks go through me.

   "Marcel, have you ever kissed a girl?"

   "No." I say embarrased. I look down at my hands. She sits back down in front of me and our faces were inches apart once again.

   "I'll be your first." She says. She takes my hand in hers. We both close our eyes. Our lips are only centimeters apartuntil finally they press together. Our lips move in sync for a while until she quickly pulls away.

   I know it was wrong but I didn't want that feeling to stop. I need to feel that electricity again. These thoughts keep running through my head until I fall asleep.

The next morning I wake up at 5:30 like I usually do. I sit up and see Madi still sleeping. She's curled in a ball and there was some hair in her face but she still looks perfect. I smile to myself but was then hit with pain in my stomach and chest. I remember Zayn and Niall kicking me in the chest and stomach. I stand up slowly and walk into the bathroom. My hair is still in curls. I absolutely hate these curls. They're always in my face and I used to get bullied because of them. I walk back over to Madi.

"Hey...Madi do you have any hair gel?" I ask shaking her shoulder lightly.

"You should leave your hair in curls. It looks a lot better." She mumbles

"No thanks. I'm not a big fan of change." I say.

"Ok. There's some hair gel I don't use in the bathroom under the sink." She says sleepily. I walk back into the bathroom and got out the gel. I get dressed in the clothes from yesterday which have been washed. I get ready for school.

   *In the car*

     We sit in awkward silence for a while with just the radio playing softly. I look out the window and see that almost every house has halloween decorations put out. Halloween is in a week. All i'm going to do is sit at home, maybe study.

   Madi's P.O.V

"What're you doing for Haloween?" Marcel asks still looking out the window.

   "Since my parents are out of town until the 1st, I can pretty much do whatever I want. There's this party at a girl named Kasey's house for everyone at school. You can come if you want?" I offer.

   "I don't think that's a very good idea. I'll still get picked on."

   "You'll be with me Marcel." I said.

   "I'm still the "nerd of the school" no matter who i'm with." He says looking at me. He has sorrow in his eyes. We pull into the school parking lot. I can convice him later.
