    Madi's P.O.V

I sat in my fuzzy pajamas with a blanket wrapped around my body. I sat in the dark as The X Factor logo came on the screen. I took a deep breath and waited patiently for the stupid intro to be over with.

I waited for about ten minutes when finally Marcel walked on the stage. I sat up straight and turned up the volume. A nervous smile played on his lips as he held the microphone firmly in his hands.

"Hello there. What's your name?" Simon asked him.

"Marcel Styles." He said with confidence in his voice.

"Ok, and what are you going to be singing for us?" asked Simon.

"I'm going to sing Fall for you by Seconhand Serenade." I smiled at the song choice. He only sang a few times for me. But when he did, he sang this song.

"Ok. Good luck." Simon said. Marcel cleared his thoat and began to sing.

"The best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting

Could it be that we have been this way before

I know you don't think that I am trying

I know you're wearing thin down to the core

But hold your breath

Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you

Over again

Don't make me change my mind

Or I won't live to see another day

I swear it's true

Because a girl like you is impossible to find

You're impossible to find"

The crowd roared with cheers, people screaming his name, applauding him with a standing ovation. Tears streamed down my pale cheeks uncontrollably. The judges all gave a standing ovation. I know what's going to happen next.

"That. Was. Incredible." Simon said. I've been watching The X Factor for years and i've never heard those words escape his lips. Marcel had a wide smile plastered on his lips. I shook my head as I listened to their amazing comments.

"I'm saying yes." Louie said. "Yes." I heard.

"You've got 3 yes's." Simon said. I've never seen Marcel so happy. He was smiling as wide as possible with tears briming his eyes. The crowd roared with applause.

"Thank you so much." He said and walked off the stage. I turned off my t.v and sat in the dark. It's over. He's gone.

My phone made me jump as it started frantically ringing from the coffee table. I answered it without looking who it was. "Hello?" I said quietly. Sadness was probably clear in my voice.

"I'm so sorry, love." Louis spoke from the other end. I wiped my eyes. "Is there anything I can do?" He asked soothingly.

"Just tell me one thing."

"What is it?" He said.

"What color should I wear to prom?" I said quietly. He chuckled, so did I.

"Yellow. I love that color on you." I could tell he was smiling. I smiled too. Louis always has a way to make me happy whenever my heart is hurting.

"Yellow it is then." I smiled. We talked for another two hours. Just talking about whatever comes to mind. Our relationship was only mentioned once. He asked me if there was a chance we could get back together someday. I told him there was. I just need to get over Marcel. And that's going to be extremely hard. But Louis has changed. He's not a big shot with a reputation. He's sweet and caring.

"Ok Louis, i'm going to go to bed." I looked at the clock, it read 1:25 A.M.

"No, not yet. Just five more minutes." He begged.

"Louis i'm really tired." I complained.

"Fine you can go to sleep. Just stay on the line."

"Ok." I put the phone on speaker and set it on the coffee table. I closed my eyes while Louis continued talking. Not really caring if I fell asleep. I was about to fall asleep when my phone started ringing. I sat up and grabbed my phone.

"Louis I gotta go. I'm getting another call." I said. We quickly said our goodbyes and I answered the other call. "Hello?"

"Hi Madi." I heard Marcel say from the other end. I gave a small smile and stood up from the couch.

"Hey Marcel." I walked to the kitchen. I flicked on the light. I shivered from my bare feet hitting the cold tile. I took a glass out of one of the cabinets and filled it with ice tea. I sat down at the kitchen table. "What're you doing it's past one." I took a sip of my drink and rubbed my tired eyes.

"Oh god, i'm sorry love, I forgot about the time difference." He said.

"It's ok, I was already awake."

"What were you doing at one in the morning?" He chuckled.

"I was on the phone with...um...Trisha. I haven't spoken to her in a while so I decided to call her." I lied. He believed me. We continued to talk for a few more minutes until he let me go to sleep. I put my glass in the sink and went upstairs to my room.
