My Math Teacher is My New Mom?

Chapter 9

I woke up and got ready for school. I took a shower, brush my teeth, and washed my face. I picked out my outfit. I feeling like dressing up a bit, so I did. I got out a red sweater dress, since its been getting really cold, black tights, and red flats. I moisturized, then put on my clothes. I walked down stairs, and waited for Jacob to come pick me up. He said he was taking me somewhere after school. We,ve been dating for a week now, and its been fun. My dad walked down stairs, and got an apple. "Good morning Maddi." Dad greeted me. I started talking to him again. "Good morning." I told me. Jacoob pulled up outside of my house, so I got my books then, got in the car. "Hey, Jacob." I gave him a kiss when I got in. "Hey, so you ready?" He pulled up out of my drive way, and began going on to my school. "What are we doing after school today?" He didn't tell me when he talked yesterday about it. "It's a surprise." Jacob knows I hate surprises.  We made it to my school, and I got out the car. Jacob doesn't go to my school, so he left as soon as I said good bye and gave him a kiss. I walked into the school, and went to my locker. "Who was that?" Sam asked me.  Oh crap. I forgot to tell the girls about Jacob. "His name is Jacob, we met at Meaghan's birthday party. He's also Meaghan's counsin. We have been dating for about a week now." I told here the story. The bell rang before Sam could say anything. "Bye Sam see you at lunch." I told her then walked to Mr. Puals room for science. 

When lunch time came around I went to the cafeteria, and got in line.  I bought my lunch, then headed to the table. "Why didn't you tell me?" Jenna asked me before I could sit down. I guess Sam told everyone. "Sorry, I just kind of forgot." I appologized  to them. "It's okay I guess." Jenna told me. "Anyway, I'm having a sleep over this week end." Claire told everyone. Claire is quiet most of the time. She has black curly hair, blue eyes, and she is really smart. "Sure, It'll be fun." I told her. "Yeah, it will." Everyone agreed.

After lunch, I walked to Devin's class. I would be in P.E but since I'm on the basketball team, I get to skip it. So anyway, I walked into math, and sat down.As I waited for class to start, I got on my phone, and played Temple Run. "Okay class, so today, I want to tell you all something." She started the class after the bell rung. I put my phone up, because I didn't fell like getting in trouble. "I am getting married!" She announced to the whole class. A girl name Mazzie raised her hands. "Yes." She answered. "Who are you getting married to?" Mazzie asked. " George Kirk, Madison father." Devin replied. Then in an instant everyone turned and stared at me. I sulked down in my seat, and avoided eye contact with everyone. Please let this day end already!

School finally ended, and I was in the car with Jacob. He was driving us to our date, and right now I have no clue where we are, because I have on a blindfold. "Are we almost there?" I asked him we have been driving for about 30 minutes now. "Yeah, just five more minutes." He told me. I'm so hungry it seems like I can smell mash potatoes and gravy. "We're here." Jacob announced. He opened the door, and a few seconds later he opened mine. "Okay give me you hands, we have to walk just a little." Jacob told me. "Can I take off this stupid blindfold?" I really hate this thing. " Not yet." We began walking, and then I was able to take the blindfold off. "Oh my God, it's beautiful." I said in awe. We were surrounded by green grass, and in front of us was a waterfall. "You like?" He asked me. Like was an understatement. "No, I love!" Everything was so beautiful. I looked down at Jacob hand and saw an picnic basket. We found a spot, and settled down. Jacob laid down the blanket and put the food down.

I had so much fun with Jacob, we ate and talked. Then we walked in the water, but it was shallow. He drove me back home afterwards, I kissed him good night and went inside. So, now I'm in my room finishing up on my homework. Once I was finished I walked down the stairs. "Oh Hey Madison, we are going some where in a little while, so get ready. Dress casual." He told me then walked away. I walked back up stairs, and changed my clothes after showering. I put on some jeggins, and a crop top with black converse.  I braided my hair then wrapped it around into a bun. I put on some light makeup. I made sure to get my jacket so I won't freeze to death out side. I walked down the stairs, and met my dad by the door. "Ready?" He asked opening the door. "Yes."

We drove for a little while before making it to my grama's house. I love my grama and papa so much, I haven't seen them for about three years. We walked up to the door, knocked, and waited for them to answer. "Oh hello, my baby." Grama pulled me into a hug. We walked inside and I made my way to my papa. "Hey Papa." I greeted him. "Oh hey, Maddi." He also huged me. These are my mom's parents, and they love to hug. "You look so much like Cara." He told me. Everyone tells me I look like my mom. We all sat down in the living room, and talked for a while.  Grama called me into the kitchen to help her take the cookies out the oven. So, what's been going on? Do you have a boyfriend?" Grama asked me. Grama and I are really close. I think of her more as a friend then a Grama. "Everything been great, and um yea I do have a boyfriend." I told her blushing. "What's his name? Do  he have any tattoes? Where did you meet?" She asked laughing. I love my Grama so much. "He's name is Jacob, I don't thinks he has any tattoes, and we meet at my friends, Meaghan, birthday party. They are cousins actually." I helped her get the cookies ou the oven, and put them on the counter to cool off. "Okay answer one more question, are you happy about the marriage?" She always know when something is bothering me, or if I'm upset about something. "I don't know. I want my dad to be happy, but I don't want her to think she can just waltz in and replace my mom or something." I told her honestly. Everyone thinks that I'm happy about the marriage when I tell them about it. "Baby, I don't think she is trying to replace Cara, because she will never be able to do that. Just give her a chance." Grama is so wise; she always know excactly what to say. I hugged my Grama, and then took a cookie.

We are back home from Grama and Papa's house. I took a shower then got ready for bed. I put on my p.j's, brushed my teeth, the I washed my face. I told my dad good night. Then got into bed.
