Sumedh's POV
I went out of Gurukul. Bandana's car was parked under a tree. I went to the car. I sat in. Bandana was sleeping on driver's seat. The seat was slightly bent backwards.
Bandana was looking very innocent. I was just admiring her. I stared at her for almost fifteen minutes.
My mobile was in my pocket and it vibrated. I got back to the real world. I unlocked it and saw Siddharth's snapchat: he cut a lizard into three pieces and the caption said "Vivisection!!". I shook my head. "Ye kabbhi nhi sudhrega! Bechari chipkali ki bali chadhadi" I thought. I looked at the back seat and a laptop was there. I took it and checked Bandana's assignment. Chemistry and Physics were left so I checked them as well. They were perfect: very well written, correct formulas, data, sentences...everything was good. Then I checked Biology: full of mistakes. I was shocked. In every sentence there were atleast two mistakes. I corrected everything, actually I almost did it all over again. Finally it was done. Bandana's phone rang; it was her alarm. We had the lesson in about ten minutes. She woke up and rubbed her eyes. Then she saw me and sat in a proper position. "A-aap? Yaha?" She asked surprisingly. I nodded. "Woh Samaira ne kaha k me tumhara paas aa jau to..." I said, she nodded. I was looking at her behaviour. It's always strange: she never looks at me; when she talks to me, she looks somewhere else. Her eyes hid something, something that she doesn't want to share with me. A girl never behaved like this with me.
It was lesson time so we went to our Human Anatomy class. This is one of the most boring subjects I've ever studied.
Bandana wanted to sit in the first row, since she is a bright student in this subject. I held her hand and made her sit in the last row. "Mujhe need aa rahi h, lecture khatam hone pe utha dena" I said to her. She smiled and shook her head. Miss had an irritating voice. "Yaar pressure cooker ki seeti jesi aawaz nikaal rhi h yeh to. Koi chup krado! Bande pe reham khao thorasa!!" I whispered.
"Isse accha h lecture pe dhyaan dijiye! Woh reham nhi khane wali" Bandana said. I rolled my eyes. That was a good idea actually. But taking notes was a difficult task for me.
Bandana was taking them easily. I gave a nudge to her and signed to help me. She gave me her book and I copied the notes. She was taking them and I was just copying.
Finally the lesson finished and we left Gurukul. I dropped home Siddharth.
"Maaaa!!" I shouted as I got home. I was used to do this; Maa understood that I came home. I spent the evening thinking about Bandana. Why is she like this? Initially I thought she'll change, she actually did but not much. "Miss RCB, paheli banti jaa rhi ho tum! Kese suljhau tumhe?" I thought.
I needed a chai. Maa was in the kitchen and I was sitting in my room so I shouted from there. "Are yaar itne time me to poori baraat ki chai ban jaati h!!" I shouted as Maa wasn't giving me my cup of chai. Finally in ten minutes Maa placed the cup of tea on a table infront of me. "Me chai ko itna time hi lagati hu, woh shayad kam lgati ho. Jab aa jae to uske haath ki pi lena" She said to me. "Me kucch samjha nhi" I said a bit confused. "Are abhi abhi to tune kaha 'Miss RCB chai pleaseeee!!', to teri Miss RCB to yaha h nhi. Maa k haath ki chai peele fir woh bna diya kreghi" She explained. "Mene sachme esa kaha?" I asked a bit embarassed. She nodded with a smile.
I bit my lower lip. How stupid was that! "Maa, listen: jesa aap soch rhi ho wesa kucch nhi h. I know aapne abhi takk apne dimaag me mere bacche bhi peda kar lie honghe, lekin wesa kucch nhi h!" I said holding her hands. She smirked and left from there. I rolled my eyes and had my chai.
