Part 39 - Ahankara and her Problem 2

She looked at me and tears rolled down her eyes. I hugged her tightly. Finally she stopped. I wiped her tears and asked her again. "Mene yeh sach abhi tak kisiko nhi btaya, tumhe btane jaa rhi hu" She said. I nodded.

"Me jab pehli baar Magadh ai tab Sushim ko mujhe dekhte hi prem ho gya. Woh prem uske netro me saaf jhalakta tha. Me tab esi nhi thi. Mujhme boht ahankar hota tha, k me rajkumari hu. Ode me apne se choto ko me tucch samajhti thi. Fir Ashoka ne mujhe badal diya.
Dheere dheere mujhe Sushim se prem ho gya. Ham ek saath boht waqt viyateeth krte the. Sushim me bhi parivartan aa gya. Lekin fir..." She said and stopped in between. "Fir?" I asked. "Mere pitaji ne Magadh k saath rajdroh kiya. Sushim ko pta tha k mera usme koi haath nhi tha. Uske baad, me yaha akeli ho gey. Mere paas keval Sushim tha. Dheere dheere woh bhi badal gaya. Pta nhi kya ho gya use. Maharaj ne hamare vivah ka prastaav rakha. Mene socha Sushim ka hridey firse parivartit ho gya, islie mene prastaav swikaar kar lia. Parantu Sushim...Sushim wesa hi nikla. Woh sirf apne swaarth k lie mujhse vivah karna chahta tha" She said. She told me everything. I was shocked to know what happened with her. How she suffered and never complained. "Ahankara kya woh sirf tumhe pareshan krta h ya fir...?" I asked. She nodded and showed me her arms. There were marks of burnt, hunters and so on. She started crying. I felt really very bad for her. I hugged her. "Sushim ko iski saza bhugatni hogi!" I said. "Nhi, nhi Bandana. Vaada kro k tum use koi haani nhi pohchaoghi! Woh mujhse ghrina krta hoga, parantu me usse abhi bhi prem krti hu" She said. I promised her. Such a true love! He tortures her and she still loves him! I wiped her tears and left her room.

Siddharth's POV
Bandana came in our room. She sat on the bed, without saying a single word. Sumedh placed his hand on her shoulder and asked what did Ahankara say. Bandana hugged him and started crying. She told us everything.

We were feeling really bad for Ahankara. She already hasn't someone close in Magadh, and now Sushim is torturing her. He's even worse than an animal!!

"Usko badalna impossible h!" Samaira said. "Lekin badalna to hoga na, varna yaha se niklenghe kese?" I said. She nodded.

Sumedh broke the hug and wiped Bandana's tears. "Sushim ko to sudharna hi prega!" Sumedh said. "Lekin, jesa Ahankara ne kaha, usse mujhe kucch ajeeb sa laga" Bandana said. She was lost in her thoughts. "Kya ajeeb laga?" Sumedh asked. "Sumedh, Ahankara k hisaab se Sushim achanak se badalne laga. Aap hi btaye jab koi kisiko jaan se zada pyaar kre, woh achanak se uski jaan ka dushman kese ban sakta h!?" She said.

"Woh hamesha se hi esa tha!" I said. "Ek baat mujhe samajh nhi ai" Bandana said. "Ahankara ne btaya k kabhi kabhi Sushim use boht pyaar krta h aur dusre hi pal uski jaan ka pyaasa ban jata h" She said.

This was actually a breaking news to us. "Kesa vichitra praani h woh?" Sumedh said. "Matlab sirf shakal hi nhi, teri vaani bhi Sushim jesi h? Bandana bach k rehna isse" I said. Sumedh looked at me making a poker face. "Look who's talking!" He said. We laughed.

It was night. We retired to our rooms. Sumedh and I tried to think about some solutions but we needed Bandana and Samaira's help.

Bandana's POV
Samaira and I laid on the bed. I was thinking about what Ahankara told me. "Samaira, mujhe nhi lagta Sushim bura h" I said all of a sudden. Samaira looked at me with widened eyes. "Bandana, Ahankara ne sab btaya h na. Still you have doubt?" She asked. I nodded. "Samaira uski ankho me dekha h mene. Pyaar krta h woh Ahankara se" I said. "Sumedh ki shakal Sushim se milti h, shayad isi wajah se woh tumhe accha lagta h" She said. "Nhi yaar, kucch to h jo ham sab dekh nhi paa rhe!" I said. We had a discussion on this and then we slept.

In the morning we wanted to talk to Sumedh and Sidd about Sushim.

"Agar tumhe lagta h k woh badla nhi h to btao k woh ese kyu behave kar raha h?" Sidd asked. "Well, I don't know" I said. I was actually confused. "Ok, ham Sushim pe nazar rakhenghe" Sumedh said. We nodded.

According to the plan we started following Sushim. We were with him every time. When he was alone, one of us talked to him. Most of the time he was with his mother, Charu. Sometimes when she wasn't around him, he went to Ahankara and spent time with her. And this was really very strange.

Samaira's POV
One day Sushim went to Ahankara's room. Siddharth and I followed him. He got in the room and said something to her. After some talks he got close to her. Sidd and I looked at each other. Then we looked at them again. "Kya zamaana aa gya h! Ek yeh dono h aur ek meri wali h!" Sidd whispered annoingly. "I think hame chalna chahiye ab" I said. He smiled and nodded. We went from there.
