I felt a jabbing feeling hitting my forehead I as I awoke from my slumber.
"Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up," my annoying younger brother said while repeatedly poking a stick into my head.
"What do you want?" I mumbled angrily.
"Don't you remember," he said," it's your first day of elemental school sleepyhead."
I got up and rubbed my eyes adjusting it to the brightness and held my clock in front of my face checking the time.
"9:30!" I screamed in my head," oh shoot, I was going to be late!"
I quickly showered and wore some clothes not actually checking what I took from my wardrobe.
"Hi mom," I muttered quickly while going past her," bye mom."
I ran out of the door and rushed towards school running like my pants were on fire.
"Woah, woah, woah," I heard someone say," what's the rush Ethan?"
I turned around only to see that my best friend Henry was just walking next to me.
"Dude," I said panting," haven't you seen the time?"
"No," he replied calmly," why?"
"It's 9:30!" I shrieked.
"What!" he said surprised,"oh dude we're so late."
"Wait a minute," I realised," you're element is air."
"Oh no," he muttered softly.
"So you good just boost us there right?" I asked.
"Uhh," he grumbled," fine c'mon."
I grabbed his shoulder and in seconds we were at Elemental School. If you didn't know there are four elements that exist.
Henry's element is air. The others are water, fire and earth. Usually you find out your element when your sixteen and I'm fifteen and my birthday is two weeks away. Henry found out his element earlier but I haven't yet.We walked into the building and saw air elementals flying about, Earth elementals making plants, water elementals by the water fountain and fire elementals playing with fire.
"This is my type of school," Henry joked," so what's our first lesson,"
Looking at my schedule I told him," Dude were in the same class, and we have defence against the dark arts lesson first."
*RRRRIIINGGGG!*
"Oh s***," I swore," we're gonna be late."
We rushed towards class and met our teacher, Mr Slytherin.
"You are 3 seconds late," he said," that's detention."
I could hear the rest of the class snickering behind us as we got to our seats.
3 seconds! It's only 3 seconds.
After that school continued normally and me and Henry walked to the detention room.
