"Ahhh," I screamed.
"Sorry but it was the only way to get you to wake up," my brother said," I've been trying to wake you up for so long."
"By the way it's time for school," he said leaving my room.
I got changed and ready for school taking my things with me. On the way to school I saw Alex and his plastered hand walk towards me.
"Hey dude," he said greeting me," look at this cool cast I got, my mom asked me what happened and I told a a truck hit me."
"Umm...yeah, that's great," I said.
We had a lesson with Mr Flitwick who taught us transformation of animals, he took my owl and turned it into a cup with feathers with a single word 'Apostrum'. Then after sitting through the alchemy barely able to keep from dozing off I went to the field when the lunch bell rang and surprisingly there was no one there, not even a whisper could be heard. In front of me there was a dead tree with brown leaves around it. Not a single apple could be seen seen sprouting from its thin and wispy branches as they swayed in the light breeze. I reached up towards one of its dead leaves and touched it gently. It slowly changed colour from brown to a light healthy shade of green.
Woah
I touched its bare trunk gently and a surge of energy clearly visible went up the tree and reached one of its branches. As it reached the branch a healthy, fresh red apple sprouted from it. I reached up and took a bite. Not bad. Not realising how much time I wasted the school bell rang once more calling us to go back to classes...
"Okay class, today we're gonna learn the different types of magical creatures," Mr Jason said as he opened one of many several chests," I'm am now realising one of the most harmless creatures so no need to worry."
"Oh, and by the way if it goes onto your hair just ignore cause when scared it will inflate," he added," this my friend is a hopstrum."
Nothing. Croak. Croak
A frog suddenly jumped out of the chest and landed on Batricia's hair.
"Now calm down everything is oka..." He was intercepted by Batricia's piercing scream that could have broken all the windows in the school.
As that happened I realised that the frog mouth slowly started inflating itself with air. It got more and more air until it started floating. It went higher and higher then I noticed the skylight at the top which coincidently was opened. Perfect.
The frog floated through the skylight and out of the room.
"Well," Mr Jason said," there goes my last hopstrum."
