Matt's pov- It's hard. Losing the love of your life, and your child's mother. We're trying to cope with it. Juliet seems to be handling it alright now. She walked up to me. "Daddy, can we go to the firehouse? I wanna see everybody." "Alright. I can make that happen." She hopped in the car and we went to the firehouse.
When we arrived, she jumped out of the car and said, "Come on daddy!" "I'm coming, Juliet." We walked into the firehouse and everyone greeted us. "Hey Casey, hey Juliet!" "Hi!" She said. I'm happy that she's happy to come to the firehouse. Chief Boden asked to see me. "Juliet stay here."
"You needed me Chief?" "Why are you here? I thought it would be longer before you came back." "I know, it's just Juliet wanted to come, so we did." "Are you ever planning on coming back?" "Yeah. I will be back once I get Juliet back into school." He nodded and I left.
Juliet and I got home and I got her some lunch.
When she was taking a nap, I looked through family photos of the three of us. It's just not the same.
