Matt's pov- "Daddy I'm ready to go back to school." "Well, that's alright. I'll take you tomorrow." "Okay daddy. But, you HAVE to promise me that you will go to work tomorrow. Pinky promise?" She held out her tiny pinky. "Pinky promise."
The next day, Juliet got up and dressed and I took her to school. Then I went to work.
Juliet's pov- I hopped out of daddy's truck and walked into school. Everyone in my class looked at me a little weird. I shrugged and sat down. At lunch, my best friend Delaney sat with me. "I'm so happy your back Juliet! I missed you so much!" She hugged me. "I missed you too!" I hugged back. My cousin, Eva, who's in 6th grade, walked up to me. "Hey Juliet!" "Hi Eva!" "How's Uncle Matt?" "He's okay. He's still really sad about mommy, but he's doing okay. I made him go back to work today too!" "Your just like your mama, kiddo." I smiled. Eva went back to her friends and me and Delaney talked until we had to go back to class from lunch.
