I knew they would catch up to me. It was only a matter of time. I hate living like this, but hat choice do I have?

Ugh. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about, do you? And you're not the only one who has mass confusion from what I'm about to tell you

Think of this as it is a fairy tale. But without a happy ending, well more like a story without an ending because it will never end.

Well it kind of started when I was in town. It was a nice cool morning. With leaves falling from the trees. Telling that fall has come. I was outside of an old brick building that used to be an old subway station. Out of business when the L train came into business. This building was far from Chicago, from where I lived. The building was two stories up but hollow inside due to the floor giving in. Surprised it still standing.

The thing about me is, I love to explore old crappie places. It reminds me the times I would go hiking with my dad and we would go into old building. Like one time I found lots of old coins that were used in 1800's. My dad had found mostly old journals' with little damage. The story's they tell, from living a carefree life now to the struggles back then. Sometimes my dad will tell me old folk tales and how it played out in some people their culture. My dads most valuable journal recovered was when he found a journal that belonged to Joseph Wellers, a father who was an author who would write novels about stuff. I never really looked into it, but my dad knows what he writes about. So the journal that my dad recovered was a story book, the one Joseph would write of the tails that he heard over the years so his children can read. Now today me and my dad are completing to find cool artifacts, which worry the hell out of my mom.

That when it really all began, well more like why I'm here at station. As I get back to the subway building. There were locks' but they were rusted and look like they would fall off any day now. Like and apple from a tree when it ripened. I walk over to the Windows that have been smashed, boarded up then rout out. I push on the board to see if it would give away, which it did. As I push with my weight little glass pieces that where on the window sprinkled down to the ground. As I broke the last board.  look behind me to make sure no one is concerned to what I am doing. I put my hand on the frame of the window and I climbed in threw the window.

Once my feet hit the ground  inside the building I noticed right away the smell... I hold my nose trying not to gag, it smelled as old hotdogs being left out for two days or more. I quickly get a hold of myself and start going forward into the build. It is very dark but I am able to see the outline of objects in my path. Passing over pieces of brick, paper, pipes and other debris that scatters the floor, I go over a plan in my head. Cause sure as hell I'm going to need it if I get caught in a building that not supposed to be in. As it gets more and more dark I take out my flash light from my coat pocket and switch it on.

I hear a loud crashing sound in front of me.

I screamed and jumped back in surprised. Tripping over a piece of debris and causing me to let go of my flash light and fallingdown "Crap!" I say out loud.  my flash light, where is it? I don't see it, must have gotten broken or lose during its fall. Searching the floor for a couples seconds I finally find it and  stand turning back on the flash light. "Oh man..." I say out loud. This place might not look pretty on the outside but it is sure as hell creepy inside. I look to where the noise had come from, to find a piece of celling has fallen only a couple feet to where I was standing. Talk about luck. I shine my flash light to the felling and see bare wires stuck out from where it seem that lights used to hang. I shine my flash light to the floor to the cracked and fracture tiles, the weather has really done its damage here.

I start making my way to the center of the room where old boards and chunks of cement lie. I know that's my entrance to sub way. The closer I get, the more discouraged I feel, bits and pieces of rubble that lie around is not the best of signs that this place might not fall under its own weight. It seems impossible to get in the subway in the first place. As I am right of head with the rubble, I know it will be hard to even get one piece free without it causing an avalanche.

I take a step back and close my eyes and take a deep breath.

"There has to be a way through this." I think.

I feel a wave has come over me. I snap open my eyes and look at the wall that is on my right.  I noticed a blob of yellow dull light thats leaning against the wall. I start walking towards the light and realized that I'm walking over to a bending machine. It still had power going through it. Which is... strange. The building has been abandon for years and that the power has been cut. I look inside it the bending machine, it full of crappie candy that look as it was from the sixties, judging on the covers on the candy itself looks as if it could be poisons. I move to the side of the machine and see that the back of it and wall has no spacing. "That's weird" I say, in a hush tone to myself. Something clicked in my head, I understand why there is not spacing, it was a secret passageway, and the machine is supposed to attract attention to people looking out for it. I only been threw a few before but I never had an opportunity to learn how to find them on my own sense my dad can spot them out before I can even blink.

How am I just noticing this? I guess I was to occupied to find a way to the subway itself then look around to take in details about this place. I look at the front of the machine again and look at the key pad for the way you would place your order for the candies, I get closer to it and see the the wear of the numbers "2714" and the coin return button lost most of its paint from it being pressed to many times. I look at the numbers again, which order should I use? I think for a moment and look to see if one of the numbers is more worn out then the others, it may be the first. The 7 looks a little more worn out. So I proceed to punch in the code "7214" the push the coin return. No luck. I wonder if I should put in a coin? I look at the coin slot, nothing but dust, so I guess that's a no. I start to push in the code "7142" then coin return. No suck luck, then I proceeded punch in "7412" as I hit the coin return I hear it click behind the bending machine. I grab at the sides of the machine and pull and with little effort it moves out like a door. I move to the side and see this tunnel I walk into it. As I'm inside I close the door behind me, Knowing it is supposed to be secret. I walk down into the tunnel as is it gets steeper and darker. I start counting my steps, it helps me to know where I am and not to make me panic if I where to come back up. The tunnel leads in one direct path. No other doors or tunnels connecting so this must be leading to something big.

"Squeak!" I hear in front of me. I jump back in surprise.

There are rats down here! Great. I hate rats. They are like little fur balls with teeth and diseases. "Jeez, trying to kill me?" I say, out loud.

As I get further into the tunnel I started to get bored so I whistle and hummed and within 2 mins later, I had hummed everything that I know. But I'm not really into music so... oh well, then next 4minutes I was in boredom until I saw the end of the tunnel. There was no light or breeze. Just the end There was something in the path. It may as well be another bending machine. I start to look out for a button or a latch of some sort. And sure enough I found one, a latch or door handle of some kind, either way it's getting me on the other side of the wall. I grabbed the Handel turn it and push, as I pass threw I darkness filled everything. Even my light could not get everything. As I point my light to what I can, I stand there dumbfounded. Everything is way better from what I had hoped.
