This sucks,

Do you ever get the feeling your being watch? In my case Right now, yes. No matter where I go in the city I have that feeling.

Well... Either way I guess it really doesn't matter.

If you ever stop to think about it, the way we used to find people has change. We dont really realize how much of a digital shadow we cast and sense we use it everyday I guess we overlook it.

If you're ever read the news, which I'm guessing if you're a kid like me you really don't, you can see people being blackmailed for crap they did in there privet homes, being singled out for a product online, and being tricked giving away our money to a trusted company or "friend". Technology really dose plays a part in in our culture today.

Which is sad. If you really think about it. Which I do since I made that comment... Anyway.

But I'm a little different, Even if they do find me, what are they going to do? Most of them are 'scrap kitties' ; what Jess had told me; who just want to understand something or in a very less likely class black mail. Even if they try to sell it, as in for black mail, I don't really have that many enemies, I'm not that hated. Well... Not yet. Not as hate as my dad who clearly has an act for stealing thing of great value. While I just look for cool junk I can sell for and get something to eat.

But in the event when someone is following me online or not I have people I can rely on the event I really need help. That's why you have allies so u don't wake up dead the next morning.

even if you wake up at all.

I have a couple friends that are kind of ' against the man' whatever the hell that means but they are useful to have around. One of my allies, as I like to call them, is Jess. But that's not her real name, never met the girl but we do talk.

She assigns me jobs to do and I do them for some money and protection from people looking for me online.

                              ....

As I headed to my apartment, I take one more look behind my back to be sure no one is following me then head inside. The building very run down and has the smell of urine. My apartments is on the first floor. 'Apartment 3' is printed on the door with a sticker of a unicorn shooting rainbows out of its butt. I won't lie, that I'm proud of it. If I ever rule the world that would be the flag.

I take my keys out and opened the door. As I was about to shut it someone came at me fast in front of me. It slammed into me at full speed, I lost balanced and fall down onto my back. As was about to reach for my knives I realized it was Chloe.

My best friend and roommate.

"What the hell..." I say at her, she still on top of me. She gets up and smiles at me. Giving me a look like I did something wonderful like rob a candy store, or got rich.

"I just wanted to see if you lost your edge." She responded

I sit up. Annoyed I rub my eye and look at the ground.

"Why?" I asked. Her smile got bigger.

"Because I just got off the phone with someone who was looking forward to his 'date' with a certain someone." She said.

Oh great, she knows that now.

"When where you going tell me?" She asked. I get up off the ground and walk into the apartment

"In a perfect world. Never." I said sitting down on the couch.

"What?" Chloe says, shutting the door behind her.

"Why did you not tell me?" She asks.

"You know how you're acting now. That why. "I say.

"Oh, ha ha, I know you to well to think you're annoyed with me. "She said sitting down next to me crossing her legs.

"So, who is he? How did you meet? What does he do? Is he hot? Is cute?" She looks me in the eye. I open my mouth and no words come out.

"Wow, you're like the mother I never had." I say. I get up to get a in the kitchen part "And I can't listen to you sober ether."

This is a one bedroom apartment, Chloe sleeps in a Murphy bed in the living room. I take the bedroom. The only rooms that are closed off by doors is the bedroom and bathroom.

The box was under the sink. I reach to get some soda but is empty.

"Aw man. There's no more soda."  I say holding the box looking at it. I tossed it to the garbage.

"You did not answer my question." Chloe said. Walking over to the kitchen island, a smile on her face.

"Look, there's nothing to really know, we are just going on our second date. There's really not much to tell." I say taking a water bottle from the fridge.

"You do know I can figure out more if I have to mention this to your dad." She said

"Really" I said with much sarcasm in my voice as possible. I took a seat at the island and faced her. "Well I have something more interesting to tell you then a date."

"Don't try to change the subject" Chloe said. Crossing her arms

" yeah, well, turns out someone tried to poison me today and I don't know why."
